This guy has quite a story. In a way, I'm glad he did not live long enough to see what's happening to our country and the world at this time. How would anybody who stands for freedom be in support of all of this?

Such an EXCELLENT point, Donna. How would anyone who stands for FREEDOM be in support of all of this madness, tyranny and acquiescence. We are fighting in our own country for the same freedoms our Veteran's fought for in a foreign land. All of my Veterans are rolling over in their graves, I assure you of that. I have over 1000 stories of history spanning over 80 years. I need help getting them out to to masses to help reach us what freedom really is and to know our enemy. Please help me share these stories. Thank you!!

I agree Ronald Reagan said that fascism will come to America in the form of Liberalism...It makes we weep to know how much liberals hate America to the level of doing harm every chance they get...I use to respect all my fellow Americans and there different views ....I. I can honestly say I hate with every fiber of my being liberal anti Americans (I never call them Americans any longer) I hope some day America turns against the anti Americans I would be the first in line to save my way of life

Gerald E. Rock U.S. Army WWII thank you for telling your story what happened to you and the other soldiers. I know this interview was done in 3-27-2004, but my gosh everything you went through, and the 1st time telling what happened, really touched my heart. Like you said you were fighting for Our Country "Free Our Country and keep Freedom Alive." My heart goes out to Gerald E. Rock passing in 2007, but everything you went through, and the solider's you lost, it's so sad that everything you all went through and Our Fréedom is slowly being taken away today. Our Veterans sacrificed so much and paid the price. One thing Gerald brought up that when he did this interview that we have Freedom of Speech. Everything Our Veterans went through we are losing Our Fréedom Of Speech and so many other rights today, sad to say. I want to thank Anders Thorin to make it possible for us to hear Gerald's story. Thank you so much Gerald E. Rock U.S. Army WWII for your services. You Will Never Be Forgotten🇺🇸 Larry thank you for capturing these stories through the lens of your camera. These stories need to be heard by everyone today. My heart goes out to the family and friends of Gerald and Dorothy of their passing. God Bless each and everyone of you 🙏🙌✝️❤️ Larry Blessings and God Bless 🙏

Such a heartfelt comment, Teri. On behalf of the entire Rock family, thank you for your patriotism and support of my work and our Veterans. Thank you Teri for standing in the gap and giving a damn about this country. This country today is not all the bad people and evil you see, this country is "WE THE PEOPLE," we the people of the Republic this country was founded on. The Founding Fathers are called the "Founding Fathers," for a reason, because they knew best. We must all be students of God's Word and the U.S. Constitution, "IN GOD WE TRUST!!!" Thank you for always helping me to share these stories. They must all be heard by freedom loving people across the world.

What a truly remarkable man. Thank you for the story. I agree with some of the later comments. How did 'it all' come to this? We seem to have forgotten what Gerald did for us. We are too concerned with the 'pro-nouns' & catering for minorities. From Australia.

This is the part of war they need to show in the movies. It's not glory. It's sadness, tears, and nightmares. And too many times, the men whom come back are dead inside and eventually finish what the enemy wasn't good enough to do. Perhaps if we showed this side of war, it wouldn't be so difficult for the people that we send there to get help when they return. We train them to kill, and we need to train them to be regular people again.
