I was in attendance. The family requested everyone wear purple, which was Gerald’s favorite color. The place was packed. The love in the place was indescribable. It was like every black artist you could imagine was in the building. I’ve never seen anything like it and probably never will. That place lit up when Stevie sung this song. Everyone loved Gerald, Sean, The O’Jays including their hometown and they loved them right back. R.I.P. Gerald & Sean.

Worked with G and Sean back in 2000!!! Lived at G’s crib on Arbor Trail in Ohio! Missed them dearly and God bless Mother Martha who we lost a couple of weeks ago!! RIP to my uncle Wah Wah Watson! What’s crazy is that Eddie Levert, Walt Williams and Michael Jackson sang the original back grounds for All I Do!!!! Put that in your pocket!!!!!!!!!

Eddie Levert is a very special man.......with the patience and indomitable spirit of "Job", from biblical times. Stevie Wonder is a "national treasure", known the world over for his many acts of humanitarianism & compassion. The love that Stevie so passionately expresses here for Gerald AND Eddie is what makes Mr.Wonder one of God's "Angels" on Earth.......a messenger of love & kindness. I sincerely miss Gerald Levert with all my heart...may he dwell in the eternal embrace of God's love.

One of the most shocking deaths in my lifetime. I remember hearing him on the Tom Joyner morning show probably a month or so earlier and when he announced that Gerald had passed me and Tom said the same thing he was just here at the radio station. Just shocking but I know he's in better hands smiling.

I remember all the times I use to watch Eddie and Gerald sing together when I was younger. Always wondered how Gerald was going to take it when his father Eddie passed away. I use to imagine Gerald doing a tribute like this for his dad. I never once thought that the son would die before the father. SMH.
