I would love to stabilozz, but I don't have the 6800. But the most demanding settings here were the RT settings, such as Global Illumination, Reflections and Shadows, if you set that to Medium and everything else to High/Ultra, you will have a great looking game with ideal performance. I'm playing with a 1660s, medium with fsr and framegeneration 70 fps, it looks nice and it's smooth.....almost all the time. Ii think there is a memory leak problem, a lot of more powerfull gpus and the 1660s for some reason at random moments You will get 4-5 fps, restart the Game and 70 fps again.... i hope it gets fixed soon

They need to fix those randoim15 to 20% frame drops and raises it makes the game feel really stuttery and inconsistent , touch wood we get a small optimisation patch that make the fps a bit more stable. Apart from that the game looks great they done a brilliant job.

i played yesterday, idk somehow texture looks like 2015, all inventory and control like 2009 stalker game or loading distance, it's just somehow modified stalker with graphics and story, even i played Metro Exodus 6 years ago, the game have better for all things than stalker, but stalker 2 looks like have more story cause i played 10 hours still not ended main missions

The first settings completely changed the performance for me. However, I still had to drop from epic to high settings. I'm still getting a stutter every now and then, but I dont know if it's cpu or gpu related.

It’s okay but the game still drops frames a lot especially during cutscenes/camps. For a single player game frame gen doesn’t have that much latency.

I'm playing 1080p FSR native with frame gen and so far it's really good, with a minimum input lag. But I have 12GBs of VRAM (RX6750XT), I see that a lot of folks with 8GB are having problems with the game.

I'm on 4070ti 1440p, i have 60-70 fps on high without FG, and 110-120 with FG, it feels so bad to play with fg, input lag is enormous. But FG in cyberpunk feels sm better and almost no input lag

On Intel I5 10700k I get pretty much the same FPR performance, (playing on High, 1440 DLSS Q, FG) but I drop to 5-20 FPS and 500+ latency after you reload a save / after dying (which happens a lot ) lol :S

Running this game on my 4070 ti with higher or lower graphics I still got terrible FPS. An I have a pretty good pc build. Game still needs a few small updates.

The game has something wrong with Framegen. My game is great overall, but after dying a few times and loading the last record (it doesn't always happen), the game starts at 25-30 fps. After the exhaust framegen fps returns, but after quitting the game, framegen goes as it should be. Strange.

The game is not in its best state currently. If you want to experience it at its best, you should wait for patches and mods.

Awful CPU optimization. 7800X3D, the second best CPU in the market right now capping out at 70+ fps is terrible, and that fps will drop down to the 50s when there are some friendly NPCs around. Fans are still gonna defend this with "It's STALKER!! if the performance isn't bad I'll be disappointed!!"

Turn on fg dlss quality you should be fine. Might drop a bit but you can always turn it to balanced dlss if you need it

At those settings, you might have issues because of low ram, get a card with 12 gb of vram, or drop to 1080p and stay with 8gb vram, in both cases though upgrade to 32 gb of ram, it's super worth it.

fsr 3 is only going to be good on amd cards. My 6950xt is getitng 130-150fps with it. The game looks great

just like DLSS3, double frame rates (AI generated frames, not physical), with the trade off increased input lag (basically mouse inertia). There are some parameters that help, like nvidia reflex; perfrormances settings in nvidia preferences, but it will always feel bad compared to no DLSS3

This is just sad imo…. Even on a 3080 it’s not much better. Sure it can do 60 (most of the time). This is a prime example of how dlss and frame gen is actually bad for gamers. Let alone ue5 games always running like crap… perhaps it’s not a case of laziness in the optimization department, but it definitely feels like it.

Why the hell do you have less fps when using lower graphic setting and balanced instead of quality? You have 70 fps while using high and quality dlss but 60 fps when using medium and balanced quality. Wtf. Your 1% got up but your avg go down. While using medium and balanced your supposed to get way more fps than using high and quality.

@jayking33497 you will never hit 99% on cpu in any game like gpu, cpu bottleneck is dependent on single core performance hence system never uses all of it for gaming. One single core is hit around 80%+ it's a bottleneck, you check it by enabling usage of each core and thread in msi afterburner

@@Modepakop у меня 16, но я на редите видел, что у челов с 64 Гб оперативки сталкер жрет 48(так ещё и ФПС дроп до 20 на 4090) из-за утечки оперативы. Ждём патча. Просто щас очень тяжело с этим играть. Ты умираешь и с неким шансом тупо начинается лагодром
