Claude! I was having the hardest day today. Mainly feeling a bit depressed and overwhelmed with my education. I'm an adult student back in school earning my Bachelors degree. I finally got my son to bed, he's one, and I had some time to sit and breathe before beginning my assignments, and watched this video. It was sent from God to me for sure. Hearing Gerds mom talk about her struggle as a student and mom of 6 living in the Bronx, and overcoming it all, and even Gerds struggle growing up and overcoming that and yours as well. As a young Latina trying to do right by her family and my son as a single mom, I literally prayed with yall at the end and I couldn't be more thankful for your channel and Adriennes channel! I look up to both of you and your families are truly incredible and inspiring to say the least! I want to thank you for sharing this video and Samantha who requested it!! We had to shower outside with the rain water and use the latrine... Very humble beginnings, I never take those luxuries for granted... Honestly now? They're kind of like my best memories.... Simpler times and my aunts were laughing at me because i was from NYC complaining about living in PR... It's funny NOW lol but then I was crying to go back home....

The power of an immigrant's story to overcome tough times and come out on the other side as gold. Hearing Gerd's mom tell the story of her family makes my heart beam. What a testament to your family. Thank you for sharing with your viewers. Well done!

What a beautiful journey. As a fellow Trini 2D bone, hearing Gerd's mommy brings back so many memories. My Dad is from Curepe and my mom grew up in Belmont. All the Trini sayings bring joy to my heart and a smile on my face. Having a God fearing praying mother is a true blessing. Look at what the Lord did with all that determination. Love and Blessings 🇨🇦🇹🇹❤💞💕 🙏🏽🙏🏽😊😊

First of all, Claude I love your new KZbin page. I love the content. I love the family values. And I am British and now Canadian with West Indian parents. It was wonderful to hear Gerd’s mom share her experience/journey. What an incredible testimony!!! I love your content and I love the style in which you present your KZbin space. I look forward to what else you will share. God bless from your Canadian subscriber! Blessings to you and family!💕💕

I can understand not giving up and a great career in nursing. I became an LPN by age 20 worked many years in ER then by kid 2 stopped for a few years till i decided to be RN. With my valid lic and experience it was easier to start it up till RN at 39 years old with 3 kids and a hubby. Worked again in ER then Med ward till my health allowed it! Now retired at 55 and its a good life!! No house payment!! hubby and i enjoying ourselves and 3 grandkids. Priorities change but God is good. I have really enjoyed your videos. God bless
