This is a great idea. Just subscribed. I appreciate the little bit of an explanation Janine gave about formal/informal usage. It seems to me like you would only use "Woher kommen Sie? or "Wo wohnen Sie?" for those 2 questions, as if you were familiar with the person enough to use "du", you would already know where they are from or where they live. It's nice that it is similar to Spanish with some things too, many of the vowel sounds, and using "How are you called?" (Como se llama usted?, Wie heißen Sie?) more so than "What is your name?"

It sucks so many power from me and serves me life as a very strong roller-coaster !! I changed my gender and my name. Normally German is my native language, cuz I was born and grewn here.. - but my inner feeling, the voice in my heart tells me that you English is the right language for me ! ❤ I don't identify myself as a German and don't feel myself well here and very uncomfortable... !! This feeling is becoming more and more stronger every day.. ! So living in Germany makes me more and more sick every day and I feel very sad !😢 When I hear the English language, it sounds so familiar to me, believe me ! I don't know why, but it becomes stronger and stronger !! ❤ I need help 😢❤Vivian Hyde 😊

Maybe in one of your next lessons you could include how to correctly adress people. Calling yourself 'Frau Janine' (0:03 and 4:30) as a teacher is definitely the wrong way to do it. In German it would be Frau + your family name, or Janine. Edit: I guess I don't need to mention my nationality, as it's quite obvious by me just pointing out a mistake and not complementing you for the rest of the video 😂
