Hi Ania!! I have downloaded the entire course of your's. You might be glad to hear that my friends who spent their time in going to the German learning classes even don't get the pronounciation better that me!! The credit solely goes tk you. I have a question for you. As we learn the counting of numbers from 21 to 100, the pronounciation of "g" in the word "zig" differs from the one taught by you than the one pronounced in the song "80 millionen" wherein the singer pronounces it differently in one of the sentences- 'Einer von achtzi"ch" millionen'. Can you please clarify this query of mine?

I think it depends on where in Germany you are, where I've been visiting (southwest) they pronounce it as "zich"
@DeutschLernenMitJolca

Yes, it depends where in Germany you are, in some places they say "zich" instead of "zig", in Austria you find only "zig".

I don't know much about the development of English, but when I was small, my mother taught me a nursery rhyme that used "four and twenty" for twenty-four. Here is the first part of that rhyme: Sing a song of sixpence, A pocket full of rye. Four and twenty blackbirds, Baked in a pie.

Fun fact, saying, for example, simply "twenty-four" in English is relatively recent and from about the mid 16th century to the 18th century "four and twenty" (shows the Germanic association of centuries past), "twenty and four," and "twenty-four," etc. were used interchangeably until they were all supplanted by just "twenty-four." These days it's not technically incorrect to say "four and twenty," it just sounds very literary (think Shakespeare or the KJV Bible) and will probably garner some strange looks if used in public or from your professor if used in writing; but you can use it.
