Hastings, UK has a much worse dog crap problem than any German city I've ever been to.

bro, the lack of AC is truly horrible. it's literally 3 months of daily suffering with maybe 10 days of comfortable ~24 degrees yes, for me it's especially noticable since i've been living in a small studio apartment in germany for the last two summers - meaning i can't even Luftwechsel properly. can't wait to move out already.

air conditioners are also used as heaters so it's dual use. Air conditioners work better as heater than at cooling

As far as lack of air conditioning goes, a month of being miserable every summer is too much. The weather isnt getting any cooler. It would be worth installing it at least for the bedroom so you can sleep at night.

I don't know what it's like in the USA. But here, you don't have a fan because, on the one hand, the heat is reflected and, on the other hand, most roofs are insulated with glass or rock wool. on the other hand, the shutters are lowered during the day and ventilated in the evening or at night.

Even if germany maybe really is very bad in bureaucracy, i think in other countrys its also not just happy sunshine. I mean, that was from the french : Passierschein A38 - Das Haus das Verrückte macht - Asterix erobert Rom kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXS7coKflr1seaM and i guess mexicans who want to come to america will also have a lot of fun with the "Ausländerbehöde" of the US. After all Trump wanted even to build a wall .. or did he also really ?

Complaining about German bureaucracy? No. I had to deal with bureaucracy in several European countries and the US, and must say German officials are the friendliest. And what was that nonsense about registering a car? Last time took me about 25 minutes including licence plates. In Spain, I couldn't even do it myself, I had to take an agency and they told me it might take four months at worse and paperwork. Or another example: Have you ever filled in tax forms in the US? To sum it up: If you want cheaply built houses, unsafe transportation or road surfaces, night flights right over your head and other niceties, opt for less beaurocracy. I won't.

I am enduring 41 celcius degree in Adana right now without air conditioner. 29 is common in winter to spring months here :)

I really don't understand the internet connection here. I'm lucky because I have fiber, but it still goes out a few times a month somehow. This is super annoying because I work online. Meanwhile, back home in Sweden, there's a guy living in a cabin far north of the Arctic Circle. His closest neighbor is 100 km away, and his internet hasn't cut out in years.

The former govermently business called 'Telekom' only have the right to lay their fiber glas into the ground. Other competitors can't do so and must rent this cable of the Telekom. Offcourse they are slow down to sign more costumers to the premium one. The big T. It's the same with the Deutsche Bahn. Private companies must rent their rails for useage from them.

@@miztazed I think it used to be the same in Sweden, but I am fairly certain it's not like that now a days. But we had adsl almost everywhere already in the early 2000s and fiber in most places soon after. Yeah what's going on with Deutsche Bahn is just crazy. I hope they figure out how to solve this someday soon.

In Australia we literally can’t get internet in the house we live in, only 15 mins from town. Went to starlink and it is soo good. Best internet we’ve ever had. I doubt Germany has worse internet than Australia

Man you are even afraid to tell straight that yes that things mentioned are doing exactly people of african origin and not fellow europeans. So vice versa , if something happen in my country ( EU as well) we know almost with certainity that it is not a german but rather somebody with african background
