My favorite childhood dog was a German Shorthaired Pointer named Phoebe. Died in my arms a few years back due to bone cancer. Wishing to get a GSP of my own, as soon as I have my own house with a large plot of land. I love their cuteness, extreme energy, and curiosity, and Phoebe was a very affectionate goofball.

I love my 2 GSP's, Ruger...The Love Sponge and Browning, the Crazy Girl. Our 2nd & 3rd, Drake, our 1st, passed away at 14, RIP Drake, I still miss you 6 years later. That's a Heap of Puppy Lovin and a Big pile of Rotten you've got there! Do they all lean against you at the same time or do they take turns? People that are owned by their GSP's, know what I'm talking about.

Frank, most German shorthair pointer breeders will only sell to a hunting family or someone who tests with AKC or NAVHDA. This breed needs a lot of exercise.

@@BirdDogsAfield Its not nesscary to hunt them as long as you take the time to exercise them properly. still i wouldnt recomend the breed if you dont hunt it just seems unfair to me for some reason,mainly becouse there so awsome at it!!!
