I love these German chart videos so much, because they always make me discover a few great songs that I had completely forgotten about, in this case: This Way to Happiness (Glenn Frey), A Beggar on a Beach of Gold (Mike and the Mechanics), Don't Want to Forgive Me Now (Wet Wet Wet) & Now That I Own the BBC (Sparks). Thank you for your hard work!

I'm doing the playlist of German charts and also discover a lot of stuff. Through 2023 I was doing 1995 and I'm familiar now with a lot of these songs.

I'm pretty sure in 1995 the per capita consumption of ecstasy exceeded that of beer in Germany.

I still love your videos, Francis, but I have to admit that my enthusiasm is weakening by every year nearer to the present. There were still great songs in the 90s but there are too many songs that are simply not interesting for me. Too much Schlager (in its new appearance), too much Techno and Eurodance. Is there any chance you might go back before 1977? I'm sure videos from 1976 and 1975 would still work.

It was a great time in my life, but to be honest, 70% of that music was horrible. Thank goodness, there were some exceptions, e. g Green Day and Oasis. Great job Francis, thank you. I'm looking forward to the next years.
