Remember: The education for nurses in Germany is vocational, not at a bachelor's level! If you ever plan to work elsewhere, it can be quite challenging. Additionally, the cost of living in Germany and the associated taxes are substantial. Make sure to thoroughly inform yourself before making any decisions. There are several other drawbacks to consider as well.

I have seen that video of a Chinese programmer queueing outside for two days just to do his paperwork in Germany. Is it that bad there? Like can't they do that electronically? So backwards if true.

@arvin2005 I am German myself. With my engineering firm, we have trained highly educated Indian professionals with bachelor's and master's degrees who were motivated, well-mannered, and hardworking. They have studied German and even paid for the courses themselves. Still, we could only get very few into the country. The bureaucracy was overwhelming. On the other side, in 2015, our chancellor opened the borders for refugees, and they flooded the country. Many came without passports and from North Africa instead of Syria. Among them were criminals and terrorists who started committing crimes across the country. Now, nobody in Germany feels safe anymore. Due to the massive migrant influx, housing became very expensive. The skyrocketing costs of living and the overall situation have led to a very grim climate in Germany. Many protests with hundreds of thousands of people. By the way, the USA is not better. Asia is the future. The West is declining rapidly. That's the sad truth.

@arvin2005 if one speaks German and knows some tricks, then you can get an appointment the same day. But mostly, it is as bad as you saw it on the video. Especially for foreigners. I'm from the capital and I hate our bureaucracy as much as everyone else. It's because we have 16 states and they operate separately, so every state uses severall software suppliers. That's our biggest problem. It's sooooo embarrassing. Especially because Denmark, Netherlands and Estonia have such great systems We could just copy...

I'm also studying in Germany in a University free-tuition. Mostly of public Universities here are free-tuition not only for nursing but also other courses.

What about those who are in year 12 who might be thinking of pursuing nursing? what's the age limit? He mentioned young, but define young? Documents needed. A lot of things that he could have asked to clarify the process of applications. He just got excited about the wages.

I agree with that. They forgot to mention about the cost of living. The tax, the health insurance (which is obligatory) + other insurances and the most of important, the housing. I would assume that it will be provided at a minimal cost at the beginning. Germany has a big problem with affordable housing. Hopefully it will be explained to the people applying for the job. Not to disappoint the family left behind waiting for a huge remittance. Let´s just think that this will be for the future of your children without expecting anything in return.

Foreign languages should be a requirement in Filipino schools. It's a no brainer because Filipinos are in demand abroad. One would think that the goverment would do it already. Being multilingual is beneficial in many industry and depending where you are, there are incentives. It is especially beneficial in the medical field.

@Moss_piglets
@Moss_piglets 6 ай бұрын
@@JosephSolisAlcaydeAlberici it doesn't have to be. You can start in high school and college. Here in the US, it starts in 6th grade but doesn't really get serious until high school. Here in NYC, If kids want to graduate with a regents diploma then it's more advanced than just regular language class then college because it's a requirement in some majors. Otherwise it becomes an elective in college and kids don't really take it seriously. But I feel like language classes will benefit Filipinos since there are so many abroad. It also helps with finding jobs easily when they go to non English speaking countries.

Pls research. Germany is one country where locals do not have to pay for education tuition. For foreigners there is a tuition but minimal. So there is really no cost. This initiative covers only the other costs like accommodation but the visa sponsorship is what attracts Filipinos. Language B2 is professional level. Lower level is A1 depending on visa type. These requirements are standard requirements to work there. 🤔

If they offer scholarships for student nurses in the Philippines tapos dito pa rin sila mag-aaral, that's good. Since walang maiiba sa training at exposure nila. But if they're suggesting that these students go to Germany to study Nursing, I'm not quite sure about that. What makes Filipino Nurses stand out is their training here in the Philippines. In developed countries, they have sophisticated equipment to help them with their work. Kaya resoureceful ang mga Filipino Nurses dahil dun.

Yes salary are big but minus tax, housing and other bills are big. In results you only earn like you work us a nurse in the Philippines living in ghe provinces. Like here in New Zealand ,i have 4k plus NZ dollar per month, but my house around $500nzd per week the cheapest rent. $200 gas per week, $100 for food for week, $80 internet a month. In total you just earn a $800-1000 a month. Plus Power ,Water and garbage .only around P20k -35k pesos depending on the jobs. Only Better if both you and your wife have a jobs so that the thos expenses will divided into two, than living alone and rent solo a house. Most our families and relatives, think it will automatically you earn a P180 PHP but its not, the cost of living are high. The only good things are the benefits depending on which country you are into, and the most important are there is no Age Discrimination for any type of jobs.

Hindi naman kasi lahat ng info spoon feeding. You have to do your own research. Considering din yung alloted time sa pag-iinterview, hindi na maitatanong ng interviewer yun. It is for the individual‘s task to ask those questions.

True, that how we think at first bit when we are there, things are different. You need to work and work sometimes 2 - 3 jobs to be sble to pay all bills. Thats why western countries dont have enough time to make babies 😊. 5 years ago i got my first jobs here in New Zealand and my salary converted to PHP is around P150k pesos, but when i got here and i struggled for 1 -2 years.coz every need to buy cars in order to go to work, because public transportation take hour and that only around the citty noy in rural area.i only earn P20-30k a month and its budgeted, not included if you like to travel beautiful places, that extra cost extra expenses

If they want to seek opportunities outside Germany as a nurse like US, Canada, Australia they are not qualified to practice as a registered nurse. Just saying.... Cons: The nursing curriculum in the Philippines is higher than in Germany. How? In what terms? The nursing curriculum in the Philippines is acceptable globally compare to Germany that you are only limited or allowed to practice your nursing career in Germany and other neighbouring European countries. A German registered nurse can pursue Bachelor's degree of Nursing in University in Germany for another year or 2 with C1 german language level and once finished you will now eligible or acceptable to work globally such as US, Australia, Canada etc. Pros: As we all know, nursing study in the Philippines is very very expensive when it come to tuition fees, miscellaneous, books, equipments needed in clinical etc. it will cost you like more or less half a million pesos just for you to stud nursing. In Germany, you need to pass first the german language B1 level and while you are studying Nursing, it is free and at the same time the government is giving you an allowance and you are also receiving a salary from the hospital or homecare where you are doing your practicals or your clinical duties.

Yes 💯% agree, because back there in the Philippines, all nurses there are Graduates of Bachelors Degree,that why they likes us Filipino Nurses😂, it is not the same when you compare it here in Germany,The nurse here is Vocational (3 years), in my opinion the Philippines has still the best curriculum because other country recognised our Curriculum as Bachelor Degree,and when you want to changes country, you have an option to move to US or AU,Canada or NZ😂.But the advantage here is that,we have a good Healthcare Care System and modern Equipment❤.

Philippines is still the best curriculum when you finished your BSN degree, you are not limited to one country but for some who wants to study nursing but do not have the means to support themselves they can try vocational nursing/diploma aka "Ausbildung Pflege" in Germany. They need to be serious in learning the german language because growing with the german language and learning the german language is a different story. I've been here in Germany for 3 years working as a Nurse and finished BSN degree passed the Nursing Board Exam and recently Nclex exam, my german sprache improve better as time goes by but still struggling especially when you have thoughts in mind and have difficulty expressing aside from understanding their not so common words used in a conversation. The salary or gehalt as a Nurse in Germany is between 2,600 to 3,400 euros but there is still deduction of taxes. It is enough to pay your bills and expenses, a little savings if you are supporting your family and sending remittances in the Philippines. Impossible to buy a house unless you are married with native/local german with high paying job because you will be needing a loan to buy a House.

A former nursing instructor and nurse in germany here... Another catch: 1000 euro is not enough when you will be paying for your own apartment. Specially in Münich wherein you could barely find a 1 bedroom apartment that costs less than 1000....better study Nursing in the Philippines for 4 years (our curriculum is one of the best). At home, you will not have problem paying for your apartment and budgeting food. All you needed to do is focus your studies. After you graduate and acquire your license, you can finally decide which country would you wanna go. Graduating in the Philippines gives you a Bachelor's degree that could land you in any country. Whereas in Germany vocational course xa. Nearby neighboring countries who speaks German lng ma acknowledge ang diploma mo..
