Most women don't want to sit on a seat that's full of piss. That's why many girls who are in elementary school with shared toilets usually don't go to a bigger session. What about Muslims or other religious groups where women are forbidden to go to these toilets. Have you seen what men's toilets look like in clubs, bars, etc. after midnight? Ridiculous that a way that has worked for thousands of years has to be changed because of a small and loud crowd.

I know a few schools that have them in the U.S. Some parents had to push hard for them to exist as the actual school bathrooms weren’t really accessible to disabled students. These bathrooms are meant to be accessible. Disabled students need them as they shouldn’t struggle using the non-accessible regular bathrooms.

We don't have gendered bathrooms where I live in Denmark, the building is build so there are small bathrooms scattered all over the premises, with a toilet, and a sink inside. So like several singular rooms scattered all over the place, instead of one room with multiple stalls.

For the privacy you have individual Stalls. Bathrooms With mutliple Stalls will Always have a Limited amount of privacy regardless how many people/what gender people Go there. Its about inclusivity, as moth ungendered bathrooms are better accessable For disabled people, and Its also okay for everyone to Go there regardless of their Identity. The whole trans issue For example. It doesnt Matter If you See a trans Woman as Woman or man, as both Go to that bathroom. It does Not Matter what people identify as.

There was one bathroom like that in my brother's school, after an incident with a boy trying to take a pictures of girls on toilets, they abandoned the idea. The bathroom was aviliable for a whole week. It's not a good idea, some spaces are made for people to feel safe in, like public toilets or changing rooms

Many schools and universitys have already implemented neutral bathrooms without Problems. And i can tell you, many people dont feel safe in gendered bathrooms either. I got bullied in school, and girls in my class climbed in the stall beside me, and took pictures of me from above. People who want to harm/hurt you, dont always have a different gender than you.

In all the schools I attended as a child and as an adult, there was all gender bathrooms. Not because all the schools were super cool and inclusive, but because there was 1 bathroom per class or 1 per floor and if they were gendered that would have to double. So. I guess they never started the gender seperation and didn't have to end it. Gendered bathrooms are just double the bathrooms, which is a bit wasteful.

This is a ridiculous comparison. Condoms are for sexual intercourse. Tampons and pads are for a female reproductive function that happens naturally every month and it can't be controlled or held in. Toilets have toilet paper for use, and should have period products too. You can't exactly hold in going to the toilet, you can a little bit but it'll start hurting and can cause disorders. Periods cannot be held in, so if at school the period comes early or floods your protection, the girl would have to go home if school didn't have products available. That's like saying, public toilets shouldn't have toilet paper, it shouldn't be supplied, everyone should bring their own. Sounds ridiculous right? Why are you mentioning contraceptives??

Imagine having such nice bathrooms. I live in the Balkans and we just have usually 3 separate toilets (3 for men and 3 for women in different rooms) and in most schools, we don't even have toilet seats there is just a hole in the ground (no toilet paper of course what kind of luxury is that) and then you have 2 sinks and one Is always not working for some reason (no soap that's not a hotel after all) and most of the times only cold water runs

For me and the men I know, the whole World is a pissoir, if they want/have to and they piss like they own the place. Also in my social circle, I only ever heard from Women about how they would feel unsave alone in a public bathroom. Very useful if you got nosebleed from... let's call it alcohol induced physical disagreements with other men, who take their tiny Egos to serious. I wouldn't mind mixed bathrooms, but my sister would. My biggest fear when using a public toilet is my ding dong having a touchdown on the nasty toilet bowl. I think I don't even have a fractions of the fears and realistic risks most women would have to endure, when being alone in a bathroom with a stranger Man. My main point is, if a lot of people, who use that bathroom feel unsafe, vulnerable and/or observed when sitting on the bowl, it is a bad Bathroom design. I am happy, that in Europe we don't have those revealing toilet cabins with widegap doors that seem popular in the US. Nobody wants to make eye contact with a stranger, when pressing a stick out.

Nope. It’s an accessible bathroom for anyone to use. More schools in the U.S: have to have this now as they got too many complaints for the American disability association board.

​@@ZekschweinFor people who will use it correctly, no problem. For people who will see this as a chance to exploit the system to their own benefits, it could be trouble. I wouldn't be comfortable with my daughter going to a restroom full of boys.
