Fun Facts: Pet rats were kept at the studio in the hallway for more than a year. So the animators could study the movement of their fur, noses, paws and tails. Cooking actually isn't super hard, you just need to follow written instructions. Maybe decide to experiment with a spice now and then, if you're feeling up to it. Here's a simble burger recipe for anyone looking for an easy first try: Ground beef Lemon pepper Garlic powder Salt Black pepper Cilantro Flatten the meat out on a plate, add a sprinkle of each of the above spices and massage it into the meat while forming it into a patty. Cook on medium for 6 minutes, flip, cook another 5 minutes, flip, cook one last minute and let sit on a paper towel for 2 minutes. Serve on an English muffin.

See the problem is this is why I’m a baker not a cook lol. How do you determine a “sprinkle” or when to experiment lol. I can cook any recipe with clear instructions but trying to learn my families recipes are a nightmare because my grandma is the classic kind of “mess with it until the taste is right” kind of cook so I had to make her sit down and measure out at least a starting point for her homemade sauces because my brain doesn’t work that way. Now that I’ve made it a bunch I don’t need to measure to adjust it but my brain just doesn’t work like that I need exact measurements lol

9:10 I know how to cook some things, just not everything. I know that when you're cutting meat, you rinse the board afterwards to get the meat off, but that you use cold water only because hot or warm water could start cooking the meat directly onto the board (especially with chicken). I know that when you prepare bacon it's best to get the bacon with the ring on, so that you can cut the rind off and then put it in the pan, the fat or lard or whatever it is inside the rind will escape into the pan as the rinds are cooked and then you can just cook the rest of the bacon in that. I know that it's best to prepare as many of your ingredients as you can before you start cooking so it's ready to go so you don't risk burning other things. I know that when cooking pasta, it's a good idea to use some of the water from the pot that's cooking the pasta to put into your sauce - do this after the pasta's been cooking for a while, and only use this trick if it's a sauce that's made up of things like regular tomatoes, it thickens the sauce that you've made, don't use that with sauce's made with stuff like tinned tomatoes because then it'll just add cooking time while you're waiting for the water to dissolve. I know that if you're using tinned tomatoes, rinse the tins out with a little bit of water, swish it around, then add it to the sauce - if it's don't just after you put the tinned tomatoes into the pot then it'll have plenty of time ti dissolve and you won't have wasted that last little bit of sauce still in the tin

Who else is feeling called out for their hygiene? But to be honest being judged for cleanliness by a germaphobe is like being called a light weight by an alcoholic. Just because one person overindulges, it doesn't mean everyone else isn't doing enough. In my eye, y'all are enough. Even if you kinda smelly.

Popular theory is that old lady in the begining is Anton Egos mother and Remy got the recipe from her and her cook book. Thats why the taste brought him back to his childhood.

one of the biggest things they don't outright say in this movie (and i may be wrong) is part of the reason for the big Flashback of Anton to his mom or grandma's cooking was that the home Remy's family used to live by / in was HIS house. if you look at the house in the beginning and the flashback it appears to be the same. Remy learned to cook from Anton's family so it wasn't just him reliving and experience from memory. he was really eating his mom / grandma's recipe.

Pretty sure the reason that tik tok "ruined" the eigel tower is that the eifel tower is A: old, and B: only shown during the day, because filming it at night is illegal because the lights are still under copywrite.

Common misconception, Rats actually take hygiene seriously. The greatest sign of respect from a rat is letting another rat help clean them.

This movie used to freak me out as a kid bc Remi controlling Alfredo with his hair it just plain out freaked me out. Also it’s not at all hygienic for a rat to be in a kitchen not healthy at all. But this movie is a really really good movie. I thought it was okay but I never really cared for it as a kid. But rewatching it now I do honestly really like it. It’s really good. Love your videos! You do an amazing job! I always smile and laugh while watching the vids!

To be fair to the chef about to pepper spray him, when he talked about his "tiny chef" who makes his decisions, she looked down towards his nethers and quickly back up at him. Then he started talking about how he was about to whip his tiny chef out, so yeah, easy mistake.

23:04 it’s common in more high end restaurants to have a loose menu. For the chef to have creative liberties in the kitchen. So it’s not out of the ordinary for the customer to ask about new dishes from the chef. 24:23 My brother is a chef in a high end restaurant and it’s super common for customers to want the chef to surprise them and get creative. It’s part of the experience. And my brother and other chefs he knows actually seem to prefer this to making the same thing all the time. Let’s them have fun with what they’re passionate about.
