Hi everybody, thanks for watching! I've taken your comments on board regarding more footage of the car, and less of my fantastic shirts. The car definitely steals the show! this was recorded at the 2024 practical classics show the other week. Apologies for it taking some time to get this out, I've had a lot on with work recently! This was my first time interviewing somebody, and it was an absolute privilege to speak to Jerry, I just couldn't get over the incredible talent required to pull off such a seamless job. And what a nice bloke, too! I finally got an answer to the question I've been wondering all those years: Where does the Rover end and the E class cabrio begin?

After the interview, he told me that it took him five weeks to get the E class electric roof to open and close properly. The level of skill is remarkable

What a genius and humble fellow, the marrying 2 really different cars in such a natural way is impressive.

I spoke to this chap at the Pride of Longbridge some years ago. He had the red Coupe on display. Beautiful car, and a genuinely nice gentleman.

What a fabulous conversion - that man is super talented and I would like to see the process in more detail. Some people know no limits when it comes to making something out of something else. - Perfect.

Thanks for watching, and I'm very glad you enjoyed - at some point down the line, I would love to have a bit more of an in-depth chat with Gerry to see the process behind the creation of his 75 cabrio, it really is beyond impressive, and has to be seen in person to truly be appreciated.

Spoke to this gent at Stonor Park in 2023 about the fabrication involved in that car. The bootlid is frankly mind blowing. An amazing vehicle.

I hope Jerry kept the rear ends to both Rovers and has a Rover 75 trailer somewhere.

Really interesting, to the editor, more car and less people. But great overall, thanks for sharing.

Cheers, appreciate the comments - unfortunately, I lost some footage from the car so had to make do!

My 75 went after the plenum filled with water which meant tow truck time! Was ok when dried out, but it had to go.

A very common issue on the 75, unfortunately! Bit of a design flaw, but the ECU also has a tendency of failing even without water ingress too!

I've definitely taken that on board for next time, it was my first interview so I've still a bit to learn! Hope you enjoyed the video regardless

@@CaiKeys I wouldn't of known about this car without your video so thank you for making this public. Had a few zt's and other old rover/mg's over the years.

Id rather have liked to see the car rather than you two. Lol

Same here - But unfortunately, there's only so many shots of the car you can reasonably get whilst at a show, especially with a car which was as crowded around as this one. Some further angles of the car (rear and Nearside, door cards) appear to have been corrupted during transfer, so as a result were unusable. If I was in the position to get it on the road, or at least move the car to a more private position, then I certainly would - Thanks for watching!
