Yes totally agree. It was only on like one morning channel on ITV if I remember correctly. And they would show it at completely different and random times. No wwonder that Gerry Anderson said ITV have been horrible and no help to me.

@@ld8619 I agree, had they actually shown it properly, in the after school slot rather than Saturday mornings it would have been far more popular.

Surprisingly dark as well, especially compared to the original. That episode where the Mysterons wiped out an entire town was chilling.

Anyone not in the know must have been concerned about how much SPECTRUM sent Scarlet out on missions. "Sorry Colonel but didn't that guy get shot and set on fire last week? Doesn't he get some sick leave?" Great series old and new, an indestructible hero was risky but Anderson knew how to make it work.

I just wanted to say how much I love this show! It’s my go-to for when I need to calm down and I wish there were more of it. What I can’t believe, though, is that there are only _9 minutes_ of Scarlet’s best moments…

I've been re-watching these again recently while I'm getting my cycling time in! 😄 It didn't make the cut here, but one of my favourite moments was always Scarlet rescuing Destiny at the beginning of Swarm by skydiving. The whole series is full of fantastic moments, which just makes it all the more painful to remember how it was handled. 😞 I enjoyed reading Operation Sabre, though! I hope we'll get to see House of Dolls or other stories told again in a similar format, hopefully with a mix of different art styles to boot! 😃

Extremely under appreciated show and works in such a way that it can co-exist with the original. I defo prefer this style of CGI animation over the Thunderbirds reboot, it's not aged amazingly but it was so ahead of it's time in terms of mo-cap animation.

Best of Captain Scarlet? Ha! This just scratches the surface. There are many memorable Scarlet moments in this series. This should have been 'part one'. The fight on the satellite dish; Hummingbird vs. Rhino; Scarlet's escape from Skybase, the list is very long indeed.
