My son loves star Trek. He is going to be captain James t Kirk. His dad and I are the "crew". His birthday is October 31. He will be 46 this Halloween. he has downs syndrome and is a joy! His mental age is sometimes 5 yrs. and sometimes 13 yrs. old. He is funny ,loves people and a great uncle. He teaches everyone around him what love is. Thank you for the patterns and history. You do teach us slot.

love all these tips! I'm making a moth(wo)man costume. Going to use your circle skirt pattern as a cape and painting wings on it, then adding the Wednesday Addams collar to it for a more dramatic flare.

Loved every of the 13 days. You hit it out of the .... thinking of an appropriate Halloween word.. but not coming.. Definitely my favorite holiday... from childhood having "spooky parties" in the dirt basement (small ceilings) of a home on Long Island from the 17th century. It was scary. All the way to sewing my children's costumes (first time with stretch fabrics....hide all mistakes). Thank you so much... such fun.

I don't need a costume anymore. My kids are all grown. No one trick-or-treats in my neighborhood. I might drive around to look at lights. I love these videos.🖤🎃👻🍁🧡

Love the tips! I am going easy for this Halloween, so many Gertie patterns, not enough time. I will be wearing skeleton pajamas and a Simplicity pattern skeleton cape that I stitched the appliques on with glow-in-the-dark thread. Found some crystal face appliques and will be doing some spooky make-up to go with.

Was out of town until the 19th. Just about finished with my costume. I am making a tutu that has skulls on the ribbon and red paint to mimic blood. I will be a Skeleton Clown. I will never make another tutu. I hate tulle-at sewing it.
