@marklipson7 ай бұрын
Yeah, one of the best uppercuts I've ever seen. Tremendous power from the legs up like Tyson. This fighter might even be a bit faster and more accurate than Tyson (who was plenty damn quick and accurate). He's got at least a couple KOs in that reel where I almost couldn't see how he popped the chin so cleanly at the very last moment despite tight defense by the other fighter. Gonna watch this guy.
@Byronic191347 ай бұрын
@@marklipsonTanks uppercuts are from training his body flexibility since age 5 because he throws them like a literal catapault the way he recoils his left hip back then just uncorks his full kinetic chain from his left heel through his left hip up into his elbow, fist then transferred into his opponents chin. It’s picture perfect.

One thing I always loved about Tank that speaks to both his character and in ring IQ is how once he lands that shot, he don’t just rush in and start swinging wild, he waits for the delayed reaction and has mercy on the fighter going down which is why his KO’s are way cooler to watch. They’re just super clean.

*_"No, no, no, the punch that got him was the hit to the body and he tried to take advantage of the hit to the back of the head."_* ~Tank Gervonta's awareness in the ring is that of a general on the battleground. He doesn't have to see replays because he's tactical in the ring and remembers segments of the fight as if he watched it. In fact, I'm sure many of the strategies in his head result in how he planned them. Then at some point in his tactics, he decides to bring out Tank. When rounds from the Tank began to mercilessly pound at its target, is when the general decides it's time for the target to fall. Target falls, mission accomplished. *Tanks are gamechangers, on the battlefield and apparently in the ring.*

That's right! His freaking Lazer IQ of finding that hole/sweet spot is unbelievable! His power is vicious but his experience/ talent is over the top. After last night I'm convinced this guy has unbelievable talent!

Only if he picks his fights and avoids future contenders. He obviously has the power but still gets hit and leaves himself open.

This is called perfection and there is no other way to describe it. You cannot compare it either so it is by definition the meta boxer.

I think Tank's craziest stat is that he's never been knocked down or received a standing count. That is insane
@bronisthegoat89156 ай бұрын
His chin/durability is insane because I’ve seen him take some heavy shots that barely even seem to phase him lol.

now that hes on his own, he needs to fight lomachenkov since mayweather didnt want to deal with them in the first place. that would be a true test for Davis
@kingnatesr.50787 ай бұрын
I think he's had test before that he's passed, but Loma is definitely a fight I'd like to see.. Styles make fights and Loma has the reputation of being difficult to finish, and he's a complete boxer. So it should be a entertaining fight to watch.
@TheBrownz-OmegalisticMusic7 ай бұрын
Tank would destroy Loma.🤦🤣😂 Loma's too little and has no power. That wouldn't be a test at all, just another check. The only person that can compete with Tank is Pitbull Cruz, but Tank beat him with one hand basically. He won't be tested unless he moves up.
