As much as I want to agree I can't. The first guy's right. Even prime Lomachenko gets hit eventually. That's the only reason I got Tank. Combined with his own footwork, Tank's power eventually catches Lomachenko and I don't think even prime Lomachenko could knock Tank out. Just my opinion.

@@litothecasual They're both dangerous, and I won't say Lomachenko couldn't beat Tank under the right circumstances. When he was prime, Lomachenko could step all the way around you and pop you through a tiny crack in your guard. The tactic of blinding you with his lead hand to set up power punches and pulling your guard down to land a hook are something Tank has used himself, so he knows those. Prime Lomachenko could also cover distance really quickly, also like Tank. Wouldn't surprise me to learn he got these ideas watching Loma. It certainly would be a beautiful fight to watch. I think Tank would look to trap him in the corner and counter with the left hook or uppercut. He'd have to cut off the ring well. But Loma didn't wear out easily in his prime, and the shifting positions and long lunges might allow him to pop and run long enough to fatigue Tank. Not impossible. But I think whoever was more patient would come through, and who's more patient than Tank? If he caught him clean... lights out. Just my opinion.

@@ryanbascom2268 very insightful stuff! For me I can definitely see Loma winning even with a patient Tank. No, actually especially with a patient Tank just cuz with his work rate he’ll outpoint Tank to a decision. Loma himself is very smart and I can see him KNOWING what Tank is trying to do and therefore not falling for the traps. At least not the most devastating ones. Loma was so good at being aggressive on the offence yet staying very alert and defensively sound - he always seemed to be 2, 3 or 4 steps ahead of his opponents. He did earn his nickname as The Matrix after all. But I could also see a world where Tank wins by decision. I said it in one of the comment threads here, but think LomaLopez. Loma took a while to adjust to the danger that Teo posed. He took a while to adjust to his counter punching, explosiveness and athleticism. So I can see the same thing happening against Tank. Either way I can see both winning in a close competitive fight. I know Tank is known for his knockouts but it’s really hard for me to see him knocking out Loma. I just don’t think Loma will get caught knockout flush. But hey, this is why we have these discussions!

@@litothecasual Yessir I can see it going that way too, and prime Lomachenko only got planted once, by Linares, and I don't think I've ever seen him hurt. That's a very entertaining fight. That dude could seriously just walk around you beating your ass. Tank's a monster, though. He's got Teofimo I think, and I think he sleeps Frank Martin. But these men are not Lomachenko in his prime.

My personal take: Loma’s preparation, IQ, experience and gameplan has to be taken into account. Tank’s reflexes, power and multidimensional style has to be taken into account. It’s a scintillating thought on how these 2 would approach the fight! It’ll be a fight of adjustments all the way through, truly a high speed, high stakes chess match. I can definitely see both winning - a true 50/50 matchup! But at their best I think Loma wins at 130. He’s way too comfortable at that weight, his speed, IQ, footwork and volume and combination punching would win him the rounds. I think Tank wins at 135. He’s too big for Loma, he’s at his best weight and I think Loma will respect the power too much which will drop his output. Think Teo vs Loma where Loma had his guns holstered for the first half of the fight, he needed more time to adjust to the danger. I think the same would happen against Tank. Tank by decision at 135.

That's the only weight Tank and Lomachenko fight, I think. LoL Tank surely won't be cool with moving back down to 130. Lomachenko could probably make the weight. I say Tank, and I wish I could say different. Lomachenko is a hero of mine.
