@@ByungChulKwak He's flying in end of the month. We'll be doing lots of road trips. Hopefully, we can find safe places to have him experience it. I had planned on doing all 3 EVs, R1T, MYP, and MXP. He has never rode in an EV before.

Appreciate your detail , congrats on your new X. I currently own a 2021 Model S Plaid , had since new Nov 2021, had a few electronic issues in the beginning of the very first year but otherwise has been perfect. No noises or problems since. Only has 14k miles and I also just got a 2023 Model X Plaid in Sept this year. Few minor cosmetic issues that are being addressed this month and hopefully that’s it. I wish you and your family the best and I hope this one doesn’t cause too many problems but glad Tesla made it right with buying back your old one 🙏🏼

Congratulations. Very fun to drive aren’t they? Sadly the panel gaps are common. Just submit a ticket. Depending on what it is they may have a certified body shop repair it. Any issues you have just take photos and videos if possible. It’ll have date/time stamps and help their tech/mechanic troubleshoot. What color combo did you get? And did you get the yoke?

27:02 yea you should get all the windows tinted preventing UV using the ceramic tints. For the front, tint that too, just the top 1/4 of it though. Never tint the whole front, just the top portion. You’ll be fine after that

We did 40% in the front and 50% in the rear and back with our previous long range. We’ll probably do the same with the plaid. It’s the closest look to stock. I want to do the windshield but $700 😬. My Model Y has the windshield tinted and it helps when driving. I have videos on both if you’re curious.

I don't think it'll be different. We haven't really played with the light show much on any of our Tesla. suggestion regarding the poor placement of usb c port on the 3rd row. Get some of those detachable usb C cables where the usb C port stays in the socket, but the cable attaches to the port via magnet. So if someone were to hit it, it will be less likely to break. Instead, it will just detach. Or you can just detach the cable since it's so easy to re-attach due to magnet mechanism.

That’s awesome. The Model 3 is not surprise. Out of all the Tesla we’ve owned, the Model 3 I had was near perfect. If I didn’t count the misalignments and panel gaps, it was perfect. Model Y is in second. While our previous X gave us the most issues, the X is my favorite out of all of them. They have fixed our issues with the Plaid and so far nothing else is popping up. I’m optimistic with this one 🤞🏼

Do you experience a small vibration and shudder when you drive for the first minute or two? It goes away after 15-30 seconds...

I feel it on the accelerator when accelerating from a red light. It's slight and only happens around 32-35 MPH. Goes away when I'm going faster than 40MPH. It has only happened twice and usually in the morning when I first drive it. I cannot find the pattern to replicate it. I hasn't happened lately.

There are some changes in the rear of your brand new Model X, compared to my brand new Model S. The black bar withthe tesla writing between the rear lights stop at the edge of each light on the Model S, where yours protrude into the light. I also have rear fog lights on mine, do you have it on your X? Otherwise, i chose the Ultra red color on my Model S long range. Enjoy your X

Oh cool thanks for sharing. Yes the rear fog lights are on both the plaid and the previous long range. Ultra red is a nice color. They also just released the stealth grey color. I’m glad the color options are free for the S and X

Abby drove it today for the first time. She came home and said that this one is much better than our long range. I said that’s impossible because the suspension is the same. She said it was because of the steering wheel not the yoke 😭. So I doubt this change will be approved. 😂
