We did this exercise in dance class. It does help with tone and flexibility. I struggled with flexibility, and it took me an entire semester to reach my toes.

I used to do yoga long time ago. The exercises that you have mentioned the first one is the alternate leg stretch is what I know it by and the second one is the forward bend sitting.

I have always had a sluggishbowel but this exercise really gets it moving. I can do at night and the next day i am getting a clean out. If you know what i mean. I am amazed
