Ok, big brain question. Let’s say that I have a sequence of letters, are there rules that I can use to tell definitively weather or not it is a word that can be pronounced? For example: “asdrain” isn’t a word but it could be, “agdvapm” could never be a word. EDIT: I’m interested in doing this for an other language so I’m not looking for a series of rules that only apply to english but more for some good advice on what to search to find the info I need. Thanks on advance :)

@poojasoni1407
@poojasoni1407 4 жыл бұрын
Not at all.... you're exaggerating too much...don't use words like desperate... because if you're highly qualified, you will obviously get hired..and you are sounding more like a beggar who is begging to get a job...change your sentence like... I have successfully completed my engineering and it seems that your requirement and my skills will definitely make a good match.

HOWEVER, I THINK YOU SHOULD SPEAK USING MORE AIR (BREATH) AND ENERGY, BECAUSE WHEN I HEAR YOU, AND BELIEVE ME, I LISTEN TO YOU, I FEEL YOU ARE TIRED OR SICK. WHEN YOY MAKE A VIDEO LIKE THIS YOU HAVE TO TRANSMIT OR GIVE TO YOUR AUDIENCE A LITTLE BIT OF GOOD VIBES, ENERGY, AND WE HAVE TO NOTICE YOU LOVE DOING THIS. Warm greetings from Mexico. Hi Jade. Thanks for the effort. I have a question please, I've noticed many Native English Speakers including yourself adding (R) after words that end with an (A) or a Vowel, like saying (the Idea-r of). Why is that? Thank you.
@josejulianaguirrepinzon7666
@josejulianaguirrepinzon7666 4 жыл бұрын
That r sound in used to prevent two consecutive vowel sounds, thus making more comfortable the transition from one vowel to the other one. If you want to know more about it, look for "intrusive r in connected speech".

Hi Jade. Why do some people from UK say "The idear is...." instead of "The idea is..."?
@josejulianaguirrepinzon7666
@josejulianaguirrepinzon7666 4 жыл бұрын
It's done to make more comfortable the transition from one sound to the next one; however, it's not something a speaker plans or thinks but an _automatic_ result of the pronunciation. If you want to know more about it, look for "intrusive r in connected speech".
