Also pro tips if you are hunting shiny illusion/imposter pokemon (Zorua, Zoroark, and Ditto), use auto battle. If the illusioned pokemon is a shiny it will not battle it. Also if you use dark power near the normal type gym DURING THE DAY, all that spawn is mabosstiff and zorua. If there is a pack of mabosstiff and the pre evo to that mon, those are legit, where as solo mabosstif are always the imposter. Also if you look at them long enough they will have the sweat animation and try to run away as where the legit ones will have a exclamation mark and run after you.

Okay so this is the 2nd vid where you didn't give credit to the original video that posted this info. Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, but the way you tried to make it look like you just randomly picked Toedscruel and then picked that specific area to hunt and focus on the ground type shows you watched the original video and then tried to set this video up and make it appear as if it was your own. PSA: Do NOT use 2 salty herbas in any recipe. The early guides showing to use 2 salty are all outdated now - you can use different combinations and get the same effect.

It isnt outdated. It's the same. If u have the herbs, it's just simpler than using loads of the other ingredients. But I did mention in the vid u have the options of various recipies

There's base ingredients that you'll always need : Tomato, Onion, Green Pepper, and Hamburger Then you add two of whatever type you're trying to get, so for ground, it's ham. But you need to add two. Then you can just add any two herba mystica and boom. Same thing as using two salty mystica and a single ingredient. The two salty isn't outdated, it's just harder to use because of the salty requirements.

He literally mentions this in the video. If you have extra saltys to spare why wouldn't you make the sandwich with the fewest ingredients. It's not outdated there are just different methods that use other herbas with more ingredients.

For people with NO Salty Herbs: Just look for outbreaks(Outbreak-Manipulation) and go for 60+ encounter then use a sandwich with whatever herb you have and that gives you a shiny in around 30 mins. Works really good for me

This is how I got Charcadet yesterday, went to a spot near the middle left and it was the only spawn. It got really overwhelming, so I just found a closed off area and camp reset. Got 3 with one sandwhich. Waaaaay quicker / better than waiting for an outbreak

PSA: if you're doing despawn-spawning by running around instead of doing picnic, make sure you run around by moving your camera to look at your back. what people don't notice is there are still new mons spawning behind you as you move around, and those mons can be shiny, by looking at your back while moving around you can still spot them if there's shiny.

It's worth mentioning that sometimes certain pokemon only spawn at a certain part of the area they're supposed to be in so first try to find out where that is. I wanted to look for a shiny mimikyu and the best place for this seemed like the tagtree thickett, so I tried but it wasn't working. I restarted my game and looked around the area and realized mimikyu only normally spawns near the upper part of tagtree thicket where there's a tiny lake. So I tried again and ate a ghost sandwich, and this time went to that part of the area, and sure enough, there were hoards of them, and besides a few misdreavus (if you went close to the lake), they were the only pokemon spawning as long as you didn't leave that section of the area and I found one with a good 20 mins still remaining. I then used this knowledge to hunt for a shiny misdreavus with the remaining time and only hung around at the lake, and that worked too!

@@dreameater7445 Nope! That's how powerful sparking/encounter powers are when combined! It's still 1 in 1024 without the charm but due to the sheer amount of pokemon that spawn due to encounter lvl 3, finding a shiny becomes easy as hell as long as you keep spawning/despawning them by moving around. Worth mentioning that it's best to save before the sandwich so that if you don't get one, you can just restart and try again without wasting herba mysticas. Most of my hunts took at MOST two tries, and at best within the first 5 mins of the powers.

Got myself a shiny maril after like 5 minutes just by using the picknick reset, considering you can change abilities, EV's and IV's and teach egg moves at any time, any shiny pokemon has the potential to be competative and I love it

I managed to find a shiny breloom after like 10 mins and I thought you could get spore through the mirror herb method so I trained it fully then realized that there wasnt any way I would be able to get spore on that breloom so be warned before you hunt a mon if it can naturally get the moves you want it to have.

Been using this for the paradox people and getting atleast 1-2 per sandwich. It can take anywhere between 2 minutes to 25 minutes but I don't think I've ever NOT gotten a shiny yet. It’s definitely not easy most of the time. So if you get your shiny then you shouldn’t really feel like you cheesed it. I tried for Paradox Salamence and ended up getting 3 shiny Zweilous (one with a mark) instead.

I did This to hunt for shiny mimikyuin(Thagatte Thickettop part of the forest ghost type encounter ), sandyghast (beach closes to Levincia ghost type encounter),misdreavus Pincurchin(same beach Levincia electric encounter) as well as some other paradox Pokémon. It’s a effective and efficient way to get shinnies rather than beating 60 mons in a outbreak. I was finding these shinnies after a good 5-15ish mins with shiny charm. Very good way to catch any shiny Mon!

Here’s my list: (edited to add more) Great crater land/grass: Venomoth bugtype sandwhich , Jumpluff grass type sandwhich Great crater lower level (rock area): dunsparce normal type sandwhich, iron valiant fairy type Bamboo forest(north providence area 2): Arcanine fire power Glasedo mountain watchtower(ROCK AREA): litleo/pyroar fire power, or gogoat grass power Glasedo mountain(SNOWY PATHS): Ralts AND Brozong unfortunately but good groups of ralts physic power East providence area 3: Carkoal was my goal, but I phased with arcanine. torkal also spawns unfortunately. I did end up getting the carkoal though! fire power sandwhich

It's hard for Iron Moth because Venomoth and Volcarona will spawn together with it (Venomoth if you pick Poison sandwich, Volcarona if you pick Fire sandwich) Do you know the spot where only Iron Moths will spawn?

The upper layer of that cliff has only Iron Moth spawning if you eat for Fire and that's where I got mine. Do be aware that because of the sunlight it can be hard to identify the shiny Iron Moth from the non shiny version

Note, if scouting locations just using the game, check the map while there. The map will often show rares you don't actually see spawn(I never saw an ice dragon till 2 days ago despite playing since release, but kept thinking it was just a rare bug type on the map I saw since day 2).

I was hunting a dratini outbreak, knocked out 60 pokemon. Dropped a hard save, ate a sparkling sandwich not once but twice for a full duration and not a single shiny. After the second sandwich, about 20 seconds after it ended, I had a shiny dratini and a shiny noibat right next to each other. That was the first and only time I've ever used a sandwich.

i've failed Larvesta 2x with this method (dessert to the north of the giant rock nearest to the town with a bug sandwich -- rellor don't spawn there) and it took me 2 tries with this method to get Iron Valiant (but once I got him, I got a ralts in the mountain, too). I prefer to have a back up plan for if I have power left after I get what I want. I don't want 4 of a 2 form mon. So when I Finished Iron Valiant with a fairy sandwich, I went to the mountain for ralts. For Larvesta my back up is rellor in other parts of the dessert.

This method is INCREDIBLE! I made a poison sandwich and went to the cave in Area Zero where the Zero Lab is, to hunt Glimmet/Glimmora which are the only pokémon that spawn is this cave. And after the food buff ran out, I had found and caught a whooping 0 - in words, zero - shinys! And I have the shiny charm too! ...seriously, everyone is getting shinys left, right and center, while it took me seven sandwiches to find one shiny. So, where's my refund!?

Hey friend, in order to save resources I turn off auto save, save right before i make the sandwhich, and if I don’t find one in 20 mins I reset. On a good sandwhich I can get 2-4 shinies but it has to be good spawning. Like litleo on the rock part of glasedo mountain 😍Will def save you some time!

I got my shiny Glimmet now, but it took me an outbreak and two sandwiches, the second of which had 4 minutes left on its duration. With just the sandwich it’s still 1/500 basically maybe a tad bit higher but that’s still great odds especially if you have the 60 chain too lowers it even more

This doesn't work for everything tho, I've been shiny hunting Eevee for 2 days now and it doesn't have any spawns with only normal type.

Yeah you should either egg hunt her or wait/ find a outbreak- this is pretty situational but when it works it works

@@ella12851 I've been trying for an eevee outbreak but it just hasn't happend even with a bunch of resets, I think around 5% of mons cant really be hunted easily in the wild.

You can also enter & leave picnic mode to respawn the pokemons

Yeah it takes 15-20 seconds though and I’ve just had a much easier/faster time doing this method. And it was more fun instead of just opening and closing your picnic lol

I swear my game was broken. I did the picnic mass outbreak method with a sandwich for an hour with the shiny charm and didn't manage to find a single shiny when hunting a Forretress. I've done this for other pokemon without a sandwich and managed to get a shiny within 10 resets. Perhaps the worst luck possible or something was actually broken.

I tried shiny hunting petilil at flower fields but it seems those spawns are messed up or something. Some pokemon seem to spawn no matter what you do as well.

Another tip for this method for when youre unlucky and after 30 mins still no shiny spawn, turn off autosave, save the game, make sandwich and try for 30mins if you dont get one reset your game and try again. You will save yourself your ingredients.

Ya tried this with the toedscool. Did not get the shiny for like 3 sandwiches. Not exaggeration. Reset for the outbreak of toedscool, got the shiny in the last minute of my sammy. I like the outbreaks cause they FEEL more guaranteed.
