Francesco Zen Zanoni yeah, I thought someone might have at least tried to go a long way laterally (literally lateral thinking) and then come back in towards the bridge after walking calmly to it outside of the obvious line of sight. Also kind of surprised that no one even thought about climbing around the outside of the bridge at the end... obviously would have been a bit dangerous, but there was plenty to hold on to, and you could always call Alex over to save you if you shit yourself and realised you’d bitten off more than you could chew. You’d still have got 2nd place if you were in this group and you’d done that.

@@kuivia Well it's not like that's explicitly stated in any behind the scenes material, but of course it's got to be the case, just do the math. The entirety of tasks performed over the course of an entire series, they're recorded on loads of different days, but the only unwavering constant displayed in a given series is each of the contestants always have on the same clothes. The only detail that may waver is a mix & match depending on how may layers you're wearing. A contestant has a jacket on in some outdoor task but then it's off while in the house, maybe someone has a sweater now tied around their waist, etc.

Paul was just so urgh, just zoned out whenever he was on. ~~ Lou and Iain was pretty good but the rest was mediocre(with moments like everyone in this show) but the tasks was boring and there was little thinking outside the box. :(

Sweden did a similar task to this where they hid but because we don't have any big areas to film at. We decided to have our "Alex" in the shed opening and closing the door while the contestants collect balloons in the yard. One person was a quick thinker and locked "Alex" inside so he couldn't get out lol. In Sweden tho the task was timed.
