When they allowed people to start touching the horse that was the problem. They should stop the public from touching the horses and that would be better for the guards and the horse.

Even when back in the day, I always thought it was against the rules for people to touch these beautiful working animals. I was surprised to find these videos with people basically mauling them. They really should put some type of barrier to keep people away. Take a picture and move on.

@@Yaya2214CJ Yes Yaya It should be against all the rules. I suggested a barrier too but people shot that idea down. So there’s always a reason not to have one on a city street there. The barrier could be a fabric one like they have here in the US like in a movie theater here. It collapses and easily unlocks to let people through. But oh well.

For all the immature adults and others that are surprised when the Guard, yells think for just a second. The Guards are protecting the property and people. If you grab the reins you could be 1 second away from controlling the horse intentionally or not. If you enter the Arches you could be attempting to enter the building. Should the Guard wait until you pull the door. Of course not. They are not there to entertain you. They are to protect and serve. Grow up..

All I know if I ever get a chance to visit, they will know I researched the country's rules for tourists. And just from watching these videos that i learned what you can and can't do around the Kings Guards and Horses. Im allergic to horses but will risk a allergic reaction to get one picture but while standing by the wall lol I do not understand why people think its ok to maul the horses, put their hands on the Kings Guards, grab the reins, stand in the Kings Guards way, crowd up on the horses, walk into the Guard house, not listen when told to stand behind the lines watching the changing of the Guards or get mad why they or their children are bitten.

There needs to be some sort of instruction for tourists before they are permitted to get close to the Guards. Most of them seem to think these soldiers are some sort of Waxwork, put there for them to clown next to. They will eventually have to fence them off which will be a shame.

These guards and horses are just for decorations. They don’t guard anything, there’s people milling all over the place, there’s people walking in places that the guards are supposed to be guarding, so what’s the point of having guards and horses? Decorating the palace for the sake of the public.
