After I followed all the steps everything works perfectly. Even the tablet mode worked right from the beginning (my laptop being a lenovo Miix 700 2 in 1 ). Even my printer worked flawlessly ( when chrome os flex and fayde os wouldn't recognize it at all 😢) The only thing I don't know how to do is update to the newest released version of chrome os (117 ). I only found some repository on github and I got version 116 after update. Pall can you make a video with a tip how to update to the latest version all the time? Would be the best. Otherwise great video and great way to revive old laptops with a full functional lightweight OS.

Thank you for this video. I almost get there but I'm stuck in 4:13 and it always returns to 4:07 by itself like a loop. I tried rebooting and it's still the same. I tried logging in as guest and managed to open the shell, but it keeps returning to home page again and again like a loop. My old laptop is Lenovo ideapad s210 and it ran windows7 32bit previously. Then I replaced it with ChromeOS Flex and it shows it's running ChromeOS 64 bit (?) I'm not sure about my laptop spec by the way.

Because the official downloadable chrome os is only flex, but as you can tell it's not because he has the app store

I successfully booted into chrome OS but every time I do the final step to install it on my system drive it boots back to the USB and I have no option to change it in BIOS. If I remove the USB and boot it goes back to Flex. Any ideas?
