This is a black american tribute to Fosse. Beyonce had them popping on point. It has more of a black culture swag added to it than Bob Fosse. When she incorporates traditional black party dances it's officially a mix of both cultures. Consider it an update to Fosse and not plagarism. In fact I believe it's a genius homage. Even in the music you hear old style musical motifs from movies like sweet charity mixed with southern hip hip hop/black club sounds. Like chants and antiphone everywhere. Mad respect for Beyonce.

@@jerseyfinest7152 i mean I totally understand if an artist is so pored by a previous artists’ work. Its wonderful. However, her specific video “Get Me Bodied” was literally copy and pasted from Bob Fosse’s “Rich Man’s Frug.” Not trying to start anything just simply trying to enlighten of who the original creator is.
@jerseyfinest71522 жыл бұрын
@@kaida2950 Well if you're not trying to "start anything" perhaps just say "It is great, it was originally Bob Fosse's choreography" or "If you think this is good, check out the original Bob Fosse's" or even, "what do you think about the original Bob Fosse"? That would be to enlighten (to someone who doesn't already know anyway) But to come out of nonwhere with "she copied Bob Fosse's" comes across as nothing short of being confrontational and trying to belittle it because someone enjoyed it. It sure didn't come across as you trying to be helpful at all, it was more like you were being messy. No Shade but its not always what you say but how you say something thats impactful.

Another reason I love Bey and this video specifically because everyone is represented. You see bigs, her snapping for the kids (gays) her sister and DC 3 she is for everyone before it became a trend. That's how you know it's genuine. 👑🐝

I SWEAR every gay black boy knows ALL THE DANCE moves to this song. When it comes on in the club the whole club turns to a beyonce video.

I really did love B-day, the songs were so fun but now she has such emotion and power in her songs that she lacked in this era. It maybe an unpopular opinion but I love what Beyoncé has become.

Super Silver 109 i completely agree with you. these songs were poppin but theres so much more realness and intimacy in her music now. cure she still has her fun, wicked dancable songs but theres soooo much more emotion in her music now.

This is a great morning playlist song. I don't mean no harm but the guy who dances with Beyonce wins the dance contest. He is groovy and grooving, groove . He boogies. That means to Dance to rock or pop music
