Would the solostove heat shield deflector fit ON TOP of the kingsford charcoal chimney??? Place that all together on the ground and I think it might heat up a good sizable area!🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm a bit annoyed i didnt see this before now. I literally just ordered a heat deflector for my Mesa XL a couple of days ago. I spotted one of these in my local store for cheap and wondered if it would work as a deflector but didnt go for it since i thought it would just help channel the heat upwards.

How does it compare to the heat deflectors?

It generates more heat, and doesn’t deflect any smoke (the heat deflectors do).

Does it fit perfectly into the rim? I’d kind of be concerned that it could blow over and into someone should a wind kick up…
