I was at this gig last night. My overriding feeling was one of comfort. Comfort in the fact that no matter how increasingly fucked the planet is, Mick Jagger is still out there getting after it. What a boy.

the planet is fine -- it is humanity that sucks and the main reason is that humans keep voting for inept, corrupt politicians who make policies that we follow like sheep -- would Warren Buffet hire any of these pieces of sh#t to run a division of his companies? - hell no -- but we vote for them and will continue to do so

They sound unbelievably awesome. The irony is that they sound better in this concert than they did when I saw them in 1981 at Madison Square Garden. IMO, they (especially Jagger) were more into the stage show and jumping around back then which was fun but it affected the music quality.

The gig at Knebworth in 1976 was the same. Mick and Ronnie, (one of his first gigs with the Stones) were pratting about a lot. The music suffered. Lynyrd Skynyrd were second on the bill. I hate say it, musical they were better than the Stones. But nobody will ever better the Stones on Thursday. They were just magnificent. A once in a lifetime event. So glad I was there,

@@mrjasondylan Yes it did, it left mainstream radio, music media, and most social media. The MUSIC LOVERS I talk to tell me LOUD AND CLEAR: I want to keep the musicians I love and cherish from careers in music. I want them blocked from being heard on major radio stations, I want the mainstream media to concentrate on corporate acts, I want these musicians that I like to get low low streaming rates, and be denied fair reviews in all mainstream music media, I want them to all make less than minimum wage ; just as long as those 10 multi millionaire aging generic pop stars that I see promoted every year over and over, and the Big 3 Labels that control the entire music industry, get all the money. (Warner, Universal, Sony,) I know that the handful of promoted pop stars are 100,000 times better than all the musicians I listen to combined, and that they deserve to have 100,000 times more money; while they watch and see all the rest of the musicians in the world in poverty. Seriously, I can search out those poor poor musicians - so why should I do anything to help them. Clearly buying a t-shirt or cd now and then, or watching them in a half empty dive should be enough money for decades of practice and work right? Then I respond HUH??? Join the music revolution against the Big ThreeLabels, and for all musicians. Start by sharing the news with the people and media you like.
