I just want to thank you for continuing to put content out on a consistent basis. As I sit here in the hospital fighting against cancer, my 2023 FE350s sits in my garage waiting for me to get better and get out there and ride. I've literally only got it home, and started putting protection on it before I was told the cancer was back. So thank you again, for producing content to help take my mind off my situation because all I want to do is go out and ride.

My pleasure, I'm honored my content is helping with your fight! The 350s looks awesome, I'm sure that bike is an absolute hoot! I'll be waiting to hear when you're out and riding!

I haven't gone riding in a while. Life events are distracting and priorities change, as I'm sure every rider experiences. This is inspiring me to go enjoy it more before it gets crazy hot here in Vegas. Doesn't have to be a new motorcycle, as you said. It doesn't even have to be one of the Japanese brands. First motorcycle for me was the CSC TT250, kind of like a Honda XR150L but with 230cc, front and rear disc brakes, fuel gauge, digital speedometer (tachometer also digital on newer models), unlimited mileage 1-year warranty from an American dealership, and a Seat Concepts seat. For just under $3,000 after shippping and tax, I was able to ride around the neighborhood and gain a little confidence before I took my MSF course for the endorsement. Then learned how to do basic maintenance and modifications. The valve adjustment process is very simple, so that was great when I didn't understand the "top dead center" concept and had to get back in and try again a few times... Now on an Xpro Templar X 250 with a 249cc engine and 6-speed gearbox. This model is similar to a a Suzuki RM-Z250 but with mirrors and lights. It arrived in from of my garage post-tax-and-shipping for $2485.68. Brand new and quite capable off road for a dual sport, with its ground clearance being around a foot, weight under 300 pounds, and adjustable suspension. In that regard it's better than any of the big name 250 dual sports.

I love it! In Southern Arizona you need to watch out for wild Ass, of the four legged variety. They won’t attack but they won’t always move when they see or hear you coming. You also need to protect your camp food and trash from them. Sometimes I forget that you guide adventures. I’ll keep that in mind.

Same in Southern Nevada, dang burros are everywhere around Lake Mead area...got to keep an eye out for them on the road. Cool animals, seen one beat the hell out of a coyote.

I just got the death wings off my dr650, can't wait to take it on some trails and trips on a dirt road with my bike. Cheers from northern Alberta.

I have been meaning to explore that country. I am up in southeast Idaho. I get so hung up about the mountains melting off, I forget there is good riding to the south.

I live in and love Baja. I enjoy riding through wine country and cross into San Diego at Tecate and take highway 94, awesome road great curves and elevation change. All that sounds good right? Only day of the week that rain is predicted!! Been waiting for months for an appointment and real motorcyclists ride in all conditions, will put on my gear and bite the bullet. Enjoy your content and am refreshed to see people actually riding instead of tech talk about lighter bolts or GPS holder making them a better rider.

Thank you for making these videos and allowing me to live vicariously through your experiences. I have the gen 3 KLR and have been waiting all winter to get out here in NE Ohio. Sadly, I recently broke a finger on my right hand which needed reconstructive surgery…. 6 more weeks until the pin comes out. Hopefully I’ll be riding in July

My pleasure, thank you very much for watching! You certainly have my empathy, a year ago this time I had just crashed in the desert on my XT and broke my ribs and crushed my foot. Out for 6 weeks. I feel ya! Stay well and mend fast my friend!

I lived in Phoenix, Arizona for five years and you had to worry about the wild boars and the mountain lions. I seen one at 11 o’clock at night when I was looking for rattlesnakes.

Been riding the last couple of weekends. Warm weather means hordes of bugs around the playas and anywhere else there is a little water. It's a bug splatting nightmare.

Thanks for watching! I actually may be selling the boat and taking a hiatus from fishing for a minute to focus on other things, so that video might be down the road a bit.
