Awesome spot, Dan. If you ever head back this way and need a place to stay, my family and I live in Washington state, near the Oregon border. I just did a 22ish mile round trip backpacking in Oregon and it was a blast. First backpacking trip ever.

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing Dan. Have you ever thought about hammock camping? Lighter to carry and I think much more comfortable.

Ive had some disastrous events in a hammock tent. Got any recommendations?
@chriswatts92274 жыл бұрын
@@OriginalDanBailey a friend of mine lived in a hammock for 3 years, search Stef Roberts on KZbin and you'll find him. I've spent a few nights out with him and recently on my own. It's pretty simple once you get your knots sorted.

At about 7.16 into that video, as they started on the folk left part of the trail I was waiting for the video to cut out and say, " and Dan and Pat were eaten by a bear" they look like some serious trails, great effort, if you ever start running tours let us know, I'd pay good money to do something like that👍🏻Thanks for the video.

One of the benefits of living up here in the PNW. Makes me wish I hit the trails more than I did this year. If you want to win the weigh in next year...check out some of the ultralight companies out there. My go to is Zpacks and Gossamer.
