Thank you for the pattern, Crystal! I trusted the process at the beginning through those finicky starting rows, and just like you said, I got the hang of it after a few rows and had fun with it! The pattern was super easy to follow. Having the multiples helped me size it up so it could almost fit entirely across my queen-size bed. I did it in the same colorway as yours with a black border instead. I ended up using eight cakes for the main part and half a skein of Bernat Big Ball Blanket yarn for the border. It's soft and squishy, it's has an interesting texture with the cables, it's a little weighty, and the little gaps that form make it warm enough without being stifling. I love my new blanket! Thank you so much! ^_^
