I'm thinking stitch sampler... Use stitches with same beginning stitch count requirements and do 8"-12" sections of each stich and maybe in different colors? Stitch counts could also by adjusting your beginning chain if the stitch counts are different. Ex.: patterns that require multiples of 4+2 (or foundation sc multiple of 4+1) and a pattern calling for multiples of 3+2 (foundation sc of 3+1) could work if you start with any number divisible by both 4 and 3 ... I hope that makes sense
