I would recommend getting a small camping propane grill for cooking 🍳 maybe that would help to cook when power goes off.

Propane logistics to a war zone could be explosive and dangerous. Better to use the alcohol fueled cooking sets.

The simple things that we take for granted can be a big struggle for others who do not have the basic commodities due to the war. Life in Ukraine had gotten much more difficult due to the war since the last time I was there just before the war started. I miss Ukrainian cuisine.

G’day Tania The word you were looking for is. Anxiety. Thanks for sharing your day and please believe me when I say it is absolutely ok to say you’re not ok and to vent. The fact that others are having things worse in no way diminishes your own struggles. The things that matter to you are incredibly important for your well being and it’s just human nature and completely understandable to be upset when you cannot do those things through no fault of your own. Also as a long distance truck driver who often had to sleep in areas where there were no showers a great hint is Baby Wipes, they all have moisturizer in them and are amazing for refreshing your skin and even making hair shinier 😊🧡🌻🇺🇦

Hi Tanya, thank you for sharing your hardships with us. War is a terrible thing and most people are unprepared for it. Millions of Ukrainian citizens are impacted some like you, some laying in a hospital bed or a nursing home. I hope Ukraine and Putin can arrive at peace negotiations soon. You may want to buy a large Powerbank that can be used to run fans and your refrigerator; and also a camping gas grill like a Coleman grill so you can cook during the power failures. If you have a portable solar panel you can charge your power banks and maybe run a small fan as long as your solar panel is charged by the sun. Stay safe.

I live out in the country and we had a very bad storm that knocked out the power for 5 or 6 days about 20 years ago. The storm turned two of my canoe's upright so they were filled to the top with water. One was for drinking water other was for bath water. . Now I'm ready I have lots and lots of solar panels for house and solar gadgets and chargers for phones and small lights that are used by people that camp out in the woods and still have some power solar battery packs.. Glory to Ukraine...

I believe a sense of community is a good antidote to the practical problems. People are too individual today, in my opinion. During WW2, some Danes who lived in apartment buildings cooked together in the gardens, especially in summer. Food was made over firewood in the gardens. Being together with others in a crisis situation appears to be a big plus for your mental health. Be careful with dry shampoo. There have been cases where these products have ignited. In Denmark a young girl was recently killed in an accident with a dry shampoo container, that some way exploded.

These are insights the normal media would never show. You are a normal person living in the center of Kyiv. It is refreshing to see. I am curious as to your musical interest, actually. You play the drum? I think you also have an interest in R&B? When I was younger, I liked in a small flat like yours. Gradually, I moved to bigger and bigger homes as I earned more money. Today, I live in a house with over 550 square meters, 6 bedrooms, a jacuzzi, a sauna, pool table room, gym, a heated pool, and lots of other things. It is lonely, though. It's just my 16 year old daughter and me. I think I like your life better. There is far more value found in the experiences you have than the things you collect.

Winter is coming, I don't know your home will be cold or not, I advice you to buy electric thermal accumulative heater, I am using that because in Serbia during night electricity is cheaper, it working during night, but during day when not working it heating because it's hot. In your case it working when you have electricity, when you do not have electricity it's still hot, Tham electricity come back than turn it again

I too am dreaming of a time when you can really relax. I do think that time will come when you can have days or even weeks to yourself, say on the Kiev Sea. Remember that you do earn much love and respect from us everyday. I envy your strength, intelligence and energy. Our lives are so easy in many ways compared to yours. I know what I would do about the cooking problem. Buy a camping stove that uses gas bottles. I don’t know what they have in Ukraine we have some really nice ones in the USA.

Catching rain water here in Australia. Just filled washing machine twice. It makes hair too soft. Ok for washing.

Little Kids dont understand the war and the situation , they need to be fed washed have clean cloths ,otherwise they get sick or cry all day and night .
