At 68 years old I was finally able to redo my whole mouth. I have always had very bad looking teeth even though I had orthodonture as a young person. I had ground them down through bruxism and they were stained from antibiotic use (many ear infections as a child). I never really smiled in pictures and I was very self conscious about my appearance. The whole process took seven months with at least once a week in the prosthodontist’s chair for 6 to 8 hours each visit. A very long and arduous process. I have had my new mouth for exactly one year and I must say it was worth every hour in the dental chair. Those who have known me all my life tell me I look like a different person. I now have great big smiles in all my photos.

YES YES YES to shaving your face! My friend is a makeup artist for the last 35 years and has worked on movie stars so she's amazing. She taught me years ago to shave my face because it helps skincare sink in better and makes for a flawless foundation canvas, along with good moisturizer of course. (And a regular razor is all you need, don't spend extra on gadgets that cost more and don't work as well. I use on clean, dry skin) Regarding the diet change... I sure hope its keto or carnivore because that has changed my life. Going strong for three years and will never stop because its the healthiest thing we can do for our health. Good luck! xo

I had a friend of 45 years who has since “graduated.” She was 9 years older. She was just enough down the life road from me that she could prepare me for what was next. Before she passed, she got me one of those electric face shavers/nose hair trimmers. Let me explain what it really does. It goes over the hair on your face and neck and cuts those hairs that are longer than they should be so all your face hair & neck hair is the same length. I didn’t end up needing it until about 5 years after she passed but it was genius counsel! The nose hair trimming part ended coming in very handy too. My daughter uses those Tinkle brand shavers to shave her peach fuzz but my older skin is too loose for that. Hope this helps!

I'm 56 adn literally one day recently it hit me.. lethargy, bloat, brain fog, sleep issues, etc. I have a doc appt next month to start to figure out some next steps. Healthy protein increase is very important too. Color Science tinted sunscreen is great. Is a sunscreen, yet lovely coverage like a BB cream. Dermaplaine that peach fuzz away ... it helps exfoliate the skin and makeup lays better, in my opinion. Try it. It's a fallacy that hair grows back thicker.

I have dry skin so whatever I use has to be moisturizing and not a drying matte type.

I think this is the video where you ask if anyone has tried dermaplaning (shaving with that special little razor). I did and was AMAZED at the results, but not because of the hair it removed, because of the dead skin it removed! My face went from dry, dull and blotchy to bright, smooth and creamy looking. I kid you not. As I was dermaplaning, I kept looking at the tool thinking what is all that stuff on there? And kept wiping it off with a dry washcloth. Then when I finished, I really looked at my face in the mirror and could not believe my eyes. My skin was so creamy looking. I looked like I do after having a facial, it was that good. Give it a try but be super gentle and don’t scrape each section too much. I did on that first try and felt like I had a mild sunburn. Also, wash your face really well before. I use the Cleansing Primer for facial hair and skin care and the Hydration Serum for after. Both by Venus (Gillette) in partnership with Olay (I think). I got mine at CVS, but I think you can also get them at Walmart. And one last thing, if you have any skin issues … bumps or scars, etc., be really gentle on those areas. When the hair grows back, it is stubbly, but just shave again…I’ve never gotten a smoother finish any other way.

For facial hair of all kinds, I use Tweezerman Smooth Finish Facial Hair Remover. It's a weird looking gadget but it is a game changer! It pulls all the hairs from the root, so it takes time to grow back. I probably use it once every 2 weeks and love the results! My skin looks smoother, makeup goes on better, and it takes about a minute to do both sides of my face and get the random neck hairs too. I can't believe I almost gave it away as I received it as a gift. One of my favourite products ever.

Love your site, sadly I’m in UK and a lot of things are not available here. We have Walmart (Called ASDA here) but there is no comparison with what you get in US.

I finally started shaving the peach fuzz. I was always afraid it would grow back dark.😂 I’ve had to use a magnifying mirror for years because I can’t see close-up. If you think it’s scary now? Wait till you’re 67. I’m so thankful that I’m healthy. I don’t care about a few wrinkles. I got braces at 38. Best decision I ever made😀 your teeth look amazing!!

Oh Angela you really should look into Faster Way to Fat Loss. That way of eating addresses every single thing you mentioned. It has been a true game changer and so so healthy.

This was so much fun and loved hearing about the new make up brands and tips that you showed in your getting ready with me routine! The club sounds fun, and I can’t wait to see what you have changed with your new diet! You look beautiful with all your beauty products! My favorite is the revlon eye shadow makeup which I still use, and the L’Oréal telescopic mascara is great too. I use the eyelash primer too…such a game changer in making my lashes look thicker and longer. All wonderful tips today!! Thank you Angela.:). Have a great summer!! 🤩☀️😍🏖️👍

I use the award winning Derma flash to remove peach fuzz and dead skin. My makeup goes on better after I use it.

Hello Angela...love this video! I LOVE Revision Skincare Intellishade original. It is a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen...so, so good. The only downfall...it is quite spendy. I justify it because it is very good...I never burn and don't have to reapply. It is amazing stuff!

Go to Holland a couple times a year while at Lake Macatawa. It is great boutique with cute items and always good coffee. May catch you if you are there in early August!

FYI, right now Target has an identical jeans vest to the one you’re wearing in this video that you got (and was essentially sold out) at Nordstrom.

Good luck with your new venture. Sadly, because I live in the UK and the time difference it entails, not so appropriate to me, but still really enjoy your videos. Your make up looks great!😊😊😊. Sorry you get trolls leaving nasty comments. Whatever happened to ‘live and let live??? Sending many good wishes!😊😊😊🌼🌼🌼🌻🌻🌻

The winkle device would be great to have! When I’m really tired I use make up remover wipes too instead of actually washing my face!

The RN at the dermatologist told me to shave facial hair. It won't grow back in as stubble. I was the top stylist where I live until I fell down the stairs. I prefer to remain as bulk. Thanks

Angie from the Hot ‘n Flashy channel has done so much research on skincare. She really has become an expert. There are 3 things that make the most difference in skin: Vitamin C, Retin-A (or Retinol is over the counter), and those LED masks. All of those are backed up by science. Angie knows which Vit. C to get that works best. Take a look at her Before and After pictures. It’s been 9 years since she started using Retin-A. She looks younger now than 9 years ago. Happy skincare!

I took some recommendations from her, obviously my skin is different. I knew about vitamin c and retin-a long before she came along. I stopped following her when she would just bad mouth some things when everyone’s skin is different. Also I think she looks like she has too much foundation on. For all she does to her skin and procedures, i’m really not that impressed.

I completely shaved my face once and didn't like it. However, I also didn't like so much fuzz. lol So I bought one of those trimmers for eye brows/nose hair. I use it on my cheeks and chin to lightly remove the fuzz. It's perfect. My face doesn't seem overly shiny and it's not furry! haha I love all the make up. Unfortunately I'm allergic to almost every kind of make up. I have a few products that I know want irritate my skin and I'll just use those until the end of time. No fun but at least I'm not clawing my face off.

I had to laugh at your comment about the mirror. I own that mirror, but absolutely love it! Not sure if yours has it, but mine came with a detachable 10x magnifying mirror that magnetizes to the front. I like being able to see everything so I can fix those things that I can. It’s a big help when I am applying my eye makeup, as my vision isn’t what it used to be. And yes, I do use it to mow down the peach fuzz. I find that it makes my skin feel so smooth and my foundation goes on and blends more smoothly.
