I do usher around my 17 year old from time to time, so a tutorial like this would be super helpful for me to not feel so frumpy and like I've let myself go. I so rarely wear makeup anymore that I've gotten out of practice and any sort of routine... Instead of black eyeshadow and eyeliner, use a cool brown. That's what I do. I then put black mascara to make the smokey eye pop. :) I'm super pale as well

If you feel raccoonish then keep the dark shadows in the outer 2/3 or 1/3 of your eyelid and use lighter shadows in the inner part of your lid. That should help a lot:)
