I’ve been watching Kandee for over 10 years and throughout my 20s whenever I felt really depressed or going through a break up (which in the grand scheme of things I know is small) or whatever it was I struggling with big or otherwise I would watch her videos to uplift me and inspire myself to choose to look to the bright side. She reminded me of the choice I had in those situations and I felt that if she can be this beacon of light in her life why can’t I in mine? She has made me a much much better person than I ever could have been otherwise even just through her videos. It’s sad for me to think anyone else can compare to what she has had to offer I hope she realizes what she really meant/means to all of us

You belong. You make a difference. I've been subscribed for over 10 years. The way you talk about the grief you feel towards your dad, that makes me feel less alone. I lost my mom 9 years ago and we were so close. I'm adopted by her, so she was my mom, my grandma, and my best friend. I've always been introverted and closed off to others .so her loss felt like I lost everything . . It was so cruel . I don't know what you have been through in life, but I just feel like you understand my grief. You make me feel less alone. Admittedly, I am more vulnerable...I just lost my father in law this weekend to cancer and I have had a few old fashions. Idk.. KZbin is my safe place . You are part of that. It’s like the movie “Inside Out” said, you can’t have the joy without the sadness. Chronic Illness will take you to such a dark place, it’s hard to feel like you’ll ever come out. Currently on dialysis. Trying to find a kidney donor. Trying to crawl out of the hole of despair. I'm having the hardest day, and I knew I had to come watch your update to sooth my soul and it worked. I deal with blood pressure issues the last decade. Finally getting under control: Doxasozin, furosemide, Losartan, eplerenone. And lots of potassium chloride and topical and liposomal magnesium . I pray you get on the right medication for you. It’s so frustrating and scary but there is a medication out there. You ending on your quote brought me back to being 19-29. Ahh! Thank you! I’m currently on daily IV antibiotics for Lyme disease. It affected all my tendons and most of my joints. I’ve also had Epstein Barr Virus 20 something years ago and I’ve never really recovered from it so, I absolutely feel for you and what your sister went through. I was diagnosed with EB years ago as well and I too, have never been the same. I read recently somewhere that it’s a “lifetime sentence”. I had never heard that before. I have flair ups all the time, going thru one now.

Half way thru your video. I have watched over 10 yrs. We have had similar health issues and setbacks. My dadpassed after Xmas 2020. I did draw from your experience and comfort and had peace because it was different but it's ok. And like still keeps coming back up and pandemic. I love you, thanks for the update!!

You made me cry. I think the pandemic has done all sort of things to humanity. Before all this happened I had gone through a lot. But when the pandemic started I was already 4 years into my own pandemic. And I just couldn’t ignore the new struggles that COVID brought to my all ready struggling situation. I feel for you and I like how open you’re with us who will be always waiting for you when you’re ready to come back. Back in 2013 I sprang my ankle and had to force myself to rest it ! I was sitting on my sofa very bored and thought my kids are on you tube so much let me check it out! I put in search engine something about applying eyeliner or mascara and your one of your videos popped up! So you were one of the first !! So you inspire even a 50 yr old women too! I love that quote you say all the time too! You must be the most encouraging momma! I would love to see some back to basics make up tutorials! Really anything! I watch you on Instagram a lot now! I have CRPS it’s debilitating. It’s been called the suicide disease. I’m so glad you don’t have it. I have had such a rough few years with my disease journey. For example, when you got divorced and how you got through it. I have crps in my left leg, gotta say it’s the worst pain ever. The symptoms are wild. No one really talks about it and it’s hard to get a diagnosis, so I’m so shocked a doctor told you that you could’ve had it in your hand even as a possibility. I also have heart issues, autoimmune conditions and mental health issues, so I feel your pain and stress. I’m so happy you don’t have crps tho and you’re getting in a better place and the kids are doing okay. You’re an inspiration 🖤

I was diagnosed with CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome) seven years ago. I’m in pain management still but also have a heart condition called POTS (postural Orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), and have recently developed Gastroparesis. I was forced to retire from Teaching and had a really hard time accepting that this was my life. But now, I found lots of different kinds of crafting and I keep myself busy every day. I got out of the wheelchair and am walking with a walker, but I’m doing it!! I’ll keep on fighting - same as you! 💜💜💜

I love your heart Kandee. When you share the hard parts it helps others know someone else is struggling too. I was at the very lowest I have ever been in my life in 2021. Many factors, but things I had to work through and a health journey of my own for which I finally have a diagnosis and treatment. One thing I struggle with is I don’t know what I like. I don’t really know what THINGS bring me joy. Encouraging and inspiring people brings me joy but I also feel kind of lost with myself at the same time. We’ll say that’s part of turning 50 ☺️. Anyway thank you for sharing your heart and letting us share in your joy and struggles.
