Don't face products with SPF irritate your eyes? I'm not sure what ingredient causes my eyes to irritate and burn but I notice it's products usually labeled with SPF.

Nearly 70 and can't imagine not washing my face every morning with a gentle gel cleansing wash. Started a good skin care routine in my teens and extremely happy with my skin. I have not washed my face in the morning for years. All skincare products that you are supposed to clean your face in the morning dry out my face. So I "wash" my face and eyes with cool water. It refreshes me and then I put on my daytime moisturizer.

I agree with you Lisa about massaging your skin, apart from being gentle around my eye area, I literally massage the heck out of my skin and neck when I do my skin care. I’m 61 and it hasn’t done me any damage☺️ Love your videos. 😘🇬🇧

So excited for you! My dermatologist stated my skin type does not need to be washed in the morning. I just rinse it quickly, especially around my eyes and move on. I always also moisturize with an SPF and CC Cream from Mary Kay and make sure to massage my neck and face. I agree blending it all in well my face has never felt that great. In addition to hair, in December I began cutting back on washing my hair daily and my hair has been so much better and barely falls out. I don't really use products all that much but the oil problem I had has been so much better and my hair has felt thicker and more manageable.

I stopped washing my face in the morning a couple years ago and it’s really helped my skin’s barrier. But I recently discovered that my skin actually does even better when I do a VERY gentle cleanse in the morning. I’ve been using Cetaphil’s Gentle Skin Cleanser - the kind that’s kind of a gel-cream - and so far I really like it. I’ll have to use long term to know for sure whether this is better than not cleansing in the morning but thought Id mention. Of course a moisturizer or sunscreen needs to be applied right after any cleanse to lock in moisture and prevent TEWL.

No it isn’t great advice for everyone. What works for one person might not work for another, it really depends on whether your skin is dry, combination, oily, or oily/acne prone. I have very oily, acne prone skin and when I don’t wash my face twice a day, my face totally breaks out everywhere, so I recommend that you clarify things: when you make a recommendation or advice on something that works for you… you should clarify it by saying it might not work for everyone and that each person is different. Especially with skin care because it depends on your skin type. I have a good skin care routine that really works for me, I wash it twice a day religiously and have to apply acne lotion otherwise my face breaks out badly. Remember I have oily acne prone skin so that’s why this routine works for me. This is not a result of my diet or anything like that it has to do with DNA because I was born with it.

Hi let me start off by wishing you a Happy Mother’s Day! The Estée Lauder Hydra Futurist foundation is my holy grail foundation. Even though it has SPF 45 in it I also live in Fl now and where sunscreen everyday. I wear a tinted sunscreen. I found that the Australian gold tinted sunscreen plays really nice with the Estée Lauder foundation during the day. I don’t wear foundation everyday, but the days that I am going out to lunch with friends I do have to say that that combination works really well for me. I apply my sunscreen before I get dressed and I let it dry for 10 or min. Before putting my clothes on so it doesn’t transfer. I wish you so much success with your new business. Congratulations!!

@@angelasmith257 I just recently started wearing a continuous glucose to see what’s spiking my insulin. (That’s what causes excess fat and metabolic syndrome I’ve learned). I find the lower the carbs, the better. Tons of things were spiking my insulin I had no idea of. I’ve been amazed really.

It's literally 50/50 cc cream and sunscreen. But I only use the one I have linked below (Sunprise SPF) because it mixes the best. Also for more or less coverage just add more or less sunscreen. You can even make it like a tinted SPF Moisturiser with a ton on sunscreen. Really personal preference. Just start out with less and add more as needed. XO

My husband had a rash like that on his chest and it got really ugly. The dermatologist took a biopsy and turned out to be lupus. Keep an eye on it and get it checked out if it persists. Good luck Lisa.

Yes I didn’t wash my face in the morning either up until two years ago and I tried exfoliating my face in the morning and at night and it totally ruined my skin. I am on the mend now and Have gone back to my 50 year routine. Hugs Connie Murphy

So excited for you on your new beach wear line!!! I have been thinking about shells in necklaces for the summer. I also looking for a very simple chain that can be worn daily if you have any on your site. My nieces and sister all like very simplistic little chains with a starfish or something like that. I have grown my hair all in one length long for the first time in years!! If I want a little curl I put a braid in ttue back, wer it and the next morning there is loads of curls. I agree with you on the face massage. It is really nice and relaxing and helps the muscles in the face as well as reduces any lines. I just put a little olive oil on my face and rub upwards.
