I think you don't give yourself enough credit. You have so much perseverance, resilience, and courage to tackle life even though you're not always sure what you're doing. You have the strength to recognize something isn't making you happy and you try your best to change what's necessary. I lost my job due to missing work...got a surprise head tumor diagnosis and a sprinkle of heart problems this year...and honestly have had a rollercoaster of a life (almost died, SA'D, traumatic brain injury and memory loss..forced to drop out of university etc) and through it all you, Trinity, and your loving family have been, as sad as it sounds lol..one of the few things that brings me joy and makes me feel like I'm chilling with a friend watching your vids 🖤(lost all my friends too after being too busy trying to deal with my health) for years now..Ghost hunting, cooking, getting your Chipotle tattoo, Trinity adventures, your relatable storytimes..it reminds me to keep fighting even when I feel alone and defeated. Just know you're actually out here helping people with your content, especially when you talk about things ppl don't really talk about...the real stuff. I feel like I've always altered the way i present myself depending on the person I'm talking to because I'm scared to say the wrong thing/have a different opinion. Legit terrified of being different or speaking up, so thank you for sharing that speech with us because it made me realize why can others be themselves and share their opinions but i can't? What makes me think that they're the only ones who can express themselves. I'm gonna try to be more myself, without worrying about how people will react

I really liked your mention of changing personality based on your environment. I actually literally just wrote a paper for my philosophy class about “world-traveling” and loving perception. I really recommend reading Maria Lugones’s essay “playfulness, world traveling and loving perception.” It really opened my eyes about being yourself openly. It’s also a very feminist approach to how women should identify with other women. It’s an eye opener, I’m sure anyone just like me who watches and appreciates Morgan for her relatability would appreciate it. I know it sounds like I’m trying to sell something 😅😂 but I really enjoyed my philosophy class this past semester

Morgan talking about not mirroring your likes/dislikes and everything else in between is SO true. I'm pretty sure we all wanted to fit in at some point, mine became people-pleasing from childhood wounds and once I started looking deeper at myself, allowing myself to like what I like and be completely myself, the way I felt about myself did change. I feel a sense of confidence in myself, and where I'm nowhere near perfect, but I was able to own my part in heavy situations, and start allowing myself the space to love myself, and accept all the parts I was being told not to like about myself like my sensitivity. I have large feelings, not everyone does, but empathy and being heart-led are very much a part of me and I won't apologize for it anymore. 💗

I just turned 30 this year and you helped me clarify what I’ve been struggling with this year. Your pep talk was what I most definitely needed, lately I've been falling into a deep hole where I doubt myself if I'm doing enough with my make up. I see so many beautiful women on social media with amazing makeup and they just look so pretty but I'm just here with my basic eyeliner and mascara. I'm 53 and it took me way too long to realise the simple truth that you just stated. I spent so long wanting people to like me, I never stopped to think if I liked them. When I realised that, I looked around me and realised I was surrounded by other fake a-holes and walked away from it all. Fast foward to me now having a grown daughter and she is such a wonderful oddball and so authentically herself. She made it through the school yard teasing that she was weird because I told her everyday that everyone who is remembered and loved in this world is a bit odd and different from everyone else. She held onto that and even though she now suffers from anxiety (they were very cruel) she turned it around in highschool and befriended all of the people who were alone and called weird until she was suddenly the centre of the largest group of friends in the school. She is now in her 20s and writing her first novel (actually a trilogy) and it is amazing. I'm so intensely proud of her.
