My sister got chickens last year and is going strong now. Even got some more chickens this past month and selling eggs to local restaurants. My tips from watching her chicken struggles: 1) Get a heater for your coup. Chickens get cold. 2) Apparently chickens can have random heart attacks and die. 3) She started with 4 roasters and only 2 made it through the winter. I feel like a heater would have changed that.

Contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint about the company that did the siding. It's not about forgiveness. They need to fix the door and you need to be proactive so they don't do this to someone else who can't afford to be charged twice what was quoted. Once you file the complaint I'd bet $50 they;'ll get in touch with you ASAP to fix their work. I had to do this with someone when my house was being redone- it was the only way to get something from them because they were MIA until I did that. It was fixed once I filed. Also in the future ALWAYS check the Better Business Bureau for a rating and complaints filed against companies doing anything to your house. You can also file a complaint with the board they get their license from. Don't hesitate.

Great idea, if that doesn't get something done u can always take them to small claims court, I can't imagine u would lose considering the circumstances but I agree that i should definitely be pro active and don't just let it go cuz they will do it again to someone else. Something like this happened to my mom and dad with a local handyman that was screwing ppl over in our area and they ended up going to court.

Honestly I can't believe you took this project on, Morgan! I knew that you didn't fully understand how much of a ridiculous process it is to renovate a home, my house is probably a quarter of the size of yours and it has taken me 2 years to renovate and I'm not even finished yet. @@sabrinaperry1736 OK so bunnies... I have 2 (I love them!) and I've had cats & dogs & bunnies are a totally dinnerent ball park and high maintenance. I honestly don't even suggest people get them as pets unless your willing to commit a lot of your life to them. The cleaning is the hardest because they aren't indoor pets and make such messes indoors. An outdoor area would be best (only if its temp controlled with indoor/outdoor) but honestly they are so temperamental so having more than 1 bunny & bonding them Is very taxing and time consuming. Just my two cents 😅
