Hello! Sorry you have lost your sense of smell and taste. There is a practice called Olfactory or Smell training whereby you would do a practice of smelling strong scents that hit the different parts of the brain with the goal of reconnecting olfactory nerves to the brain. From what I've read, results are mixed and not immediate, taking about 3 months up to a year for those who do report a change. The essential oils commonly used for this are: rose, lemon, eucalyptus, and clove. Smell each essential oil for 15 seconds, twice a day in rotation. You are also supposed to picture something associated with the essential oil smell as you smell each one. Keep in mind that emotional or physical trauma may call for a different protocol.
