Thanks for the refresher and update Grave Matters has spawned near Flotsam on the Exiled Lands, unfortunately, the Necromancers does not seem to drop a Magi Skull.

Yeah I've seen that myself and I've seen others report only seeing Grave Matters, both at Flotsam and The Summoning Place. It's most definitely bugged, but the team are confirmed to be investigating it. Fortunately, Witch Hunts weren't a great method of consistent farming last time, so it could be much worse

A guaranteed source of magi skulls is Kurak's Dungeon, his three lieutenant each drop one and they're worth 100 obolus each.

Well, I didn't know that 😂 That's not a terrible farming method if you can clear the dungeon pretty quick

You can clear it super quick with 2 thralls with you to distract the dragon. After kill yourself and respawn in dung. 50 skulls/5000 coins per hr

I hate that dungeon. Did it twice, only because I forgot to learn the Kurak's armor recipe. That first darkness/spiders phase is just fucking infuriating.

This event is good because it gives a propouse to money, now i wish there was more to silver & gold coins in general too. This game needs more things to be able to be bought: thralls, mounts, weapons, armor, resources, etc.

Weird, ran into an event at the entrance to the Summoning Place a day or two after the update, beat them, they didn't drop a skull. The dimming effect and sound effects stayed a I farmed that spot and Thugra's camp for sorcerers.

I used to farm Ruins of Al-Merayah, there were at least 3 sorceres there.

Most likely Grave Matters, it's a separate event but could easily be confused for a Witch Hunt. Those seem to be the only events showing up at the moment (grave matters)

The Crafters and Combatants you get are just random, they don't seem to be based on camps. I got two Varpnir, two Markos, two Janos, and one Dalinsa from the Sempermeru camp.

I see, I noticed I got multiple of the same thrall from Skulker's End but none of them near Flotsam, though my sample size wasn't huge. Thanks for confirming!

Ive seen a few sorcerers in bubbles around the map with a bunch of tougher enemies. I thought that was part of the event but they don’t give any skulls and don’t sawn at the same locations shown in the video. Does anyone know what’s the deal with those?

I might have missed it in you video, but are the recipes account wide or only of the character who got it? As in, if I start a new game will I have all the recipes, at least, or should I buy them all over again?

I thought I might have forgotten something 😩 I just hopped on Conan and checked, they're character-bound, not account bound. Probably not too bad for an event like this that's really easy to farm, as opposed to the Sacred Hunt's crazy grind

Thanks for the video. Is it good that this old event is back? In my opinion, since there is no chance for a new, working one, let's just use the old one... (Not working). But seriously, for me it is important that the game world, in this universe, has a coherent plot and story. If the fight between the two sorcerers is over for now, and the still-living head of one of them has little to tell us, what is the justification for starting the same event again, the purpose of which is to catch the sorcerers? That's weak. Either way, it's good that whatever is happening and that there is an opportunity to have fun acquiring the same. As for the fact that the event didn't start and the developers didn't catch it, I won't say anything.

Lore-wise, I wouldn't be surprised if the return of Bounty Hunting is eventually reasoned as part of the way Mek Kamoses gains a new body, seems like an easy way to justify the event returning. I definitely think the devs can make a new, working event, but part of the event library was always going to consist of newer events coming back, plus it may have just been an easier move depending on when the decision was made to pivot on update rotation. I'm glad to see the improvements to it though, alongside the fact this event hasn't been around for over a year. I'm just hoping they won't immediately cycle Sacred Hunt back in, that event needs some rebalancing, new rewards and time to breathe before it reappears

I have encountered a bug in the Helterlands wherein all thralls cannot be knocked down. My friend and I tried different truncheons but nothing seems to work. I was hoping to farm obolus at "The Spit" since there are 3 sorcerers there and a Bounty caravan but since I cannot knock them down, I am forced to kill them and settle with a skull instead. It is tedious. Anyone having the same issues? We play on a PvE official server.

Seems like they're only character-bound, not account wide, same as dungeon loot recipes etc

I really like the sacred hunt or the sorcerer hunt event but i wish both were permanent instead of on a rotation. why?? for exemple i start a playthrough with some friends, during the sacred hunt, they might ''complete'' the playthrough before it switches event, so it will always end up with a lot of interesting event not being seen by my friends.

I've made bounty hunter trading camps in all my bases, could almost fool a noob player. Fun stuff.

Funcom is out of devs, but it seems they out of game designers too... that 50 oboli for a captured sorcerer is a steal when they hand over free purple lotus orbs in Sepermeru, so get your Dalinsia to kill all for you at level zero, with three chances to revive her :D And even without the orbs, just dagger the lone sorcerer at Sepermeru first to get a truncheon and rawhide bindings at zero, then knock him out four more time for your endgame thrall... a little slower, since they need to respawn, but also insanely easy ;) Now back to gameplay, funcom designers and artists have really great ideas, but the company needs programmers and managers that know what they are doing, as well as have the experience to rein in creativity with gameplay... and of course all need to test their game, instead of living in the silos of their 6-month internships or pompous and meaningless titles, when they realise that they can not find work elsewhere :(
