Generally speaking, boxers seem to have trouble getting right hand pop out of the shell. Here is a quick tip to help you get that straight right (or left if you are southpaw): don't just turn out your heel, but turn you knee in (and that heel will come out). Feel it from the ball of your foot (lift your big toe up if you are not feeling it), twist the knee in, the hip then you body so your shoulder and punch comes last. In these examples, I'm not using "arm muscle" or "chest muscle."
Also, do as I say, not as I do :) as I should be turning that knee in more and the heel out more, but hey, as you get old you get where you "think" you are doing something you are not quite doing the way you used to do it. But that is kind of the point, as well, if you are an older boxer and things are not working for you, this will help you get pop, BUT it will also help you with balance and combos.
