absolutely. obviously made under Pulp fiction influence, but aint making it any less of a great movie. like PF it's a movie you can watch again and again effortlessly. And like PF if you catch it on TV accidentally in this era we all live on ''internet time.. attention deficit, multitasking'' , is one of the few movies you might sitdown and (re)watch it.

Shamefully forgotten except by people around my age. (Mid-50s.) It's never "reacted" to, and not much discussed. Probably because it's more dependent on character and dialogue - especially dialogue - rather than action or F/X. (I think YT tells the kids to talk over movies to get any monetization from their half-second "clips", so dialogue-films are a no-no.) Great performances across the board, a natural consequence of having great actors. Travolta's next film after Quentin resuscitated him, iirc, though do correct me if I'm wrong - it's been a while.

Characters are everything. Here's the test: write the dialogue in this scene down. It's OK but it's nothing more than a conversation. But put it in the mouths of these characters played by these actors and you have magic. That's casting and acting right there.
