I'm going to be THAT guy. Reed did noticed that Victor's calculations for his machine were off but didn't correct it. He tried to warn Victor but was ignored in the classic case of von Doom ego. Doom used the machine as it was and exploded on his face, despite Reed's warnings. What happened to Victor WAS on Victor. He blamed Reed because he's unable of admitting he made a mistake

Honestly, a lot of the hate Reed gets stems solely from the fact that people don't really understand or misinterpret the character. Victor would've became Doom with or without Reed, also Reed didn't even do anything to the machine he just pointed out a mistake that Doom ignored. (Technically The Thing messed the machine up because time travel)

Well the difference is Tony has a shit ton on silver linings like actually making decisions that will change the world for the better, not saying all of his decisions are (Civil War) but there’s a lot of them that makes him a good human being. Reed has been shown MANY times that he can solve a bunch of the problems in the world but just doesn’t because of some bullshit reason. Even Rocket is more likable than him, at least you can understand his actions

Your right Tony does make decisions that help the world and some that fuck it up but Richards does help people and benefit the world he genuinely cares and I would say more than Tony. Because the fantastic four are less mainstream people seem to misinterpret Richards character and he does make decisions that benefits the world and I would say his record is significantly better than Tony’s. Richards flaw is that he wants to solve every problem and because of that he overwelmed himself and causes himself to have a slower output. If we’re talking comics Tony has made significantly more negative decisions due to pride or ego than Richards and I will always stick up to the Fantastic Four for stoping the avengers from killing Hulk in Immortal Hulk. The only person that stopped was Cap before the FF showed up everyone else was about to use lethal force when the Fantastic Four saved Banner and yelled at the other for attacking him when his mind is like a child and he was begging.
