I never heard of one of those before. Looks like it works slick, snow slides off instead of pulling it off. brings back memories, I made at least one trip a year clearing the cabin roof off a year. You get a good upper body work-out, that's for sure. Nice cabin you have there, makes me miss the one I had. Thanks for sharing.

Hi John. I used to spend hours when I used a snow rake. Last weekend, it was quite easy to use as there was not much ice mixed in with the layers of snow. The more powder there is, the easier it cuts when you push up. Thanks for the positive comment.

That's a pretty cool tool! I'll have to add that to my wish list.

Hi Ryan. I was getting tired of spending half a day with a roof rake working my but off. I kind of stumbled into the Avalanche, and it’s saved me lots of time, and sweat over the years. Once you see it work, it’s like what a great idea! Thanks for the positive comment.

Hi Mike. When I made this video, there was several re-freezing layers mixed in with the powder, and I heated the house for a couple of days before i did it. So yes, I got a pretty good workout that day. Last weekend, 12” on roof, no ice, and I’d only been heating the cabin for about 10 hours, so no ice in the bottom layer. Real easy, took me 35 min, and I wasn’t even sweating.( it was only 6 degrees out though ) thanks for the positive comment.
