CM Tamilnadu Stalin forgot In 1974, when the DMK was in power in Tamil Nadu, Kachchathivu was handed over to Sri Lanka by the Congress government at the centre. Several times after that. It is strange that the DMK, which is only getting sticky ministerial posts in the central government and is only achieving false silence on the Kachchathivu issue, remembers it only during the election season. Karunanidhi, the late leader of DMK, committed betrayal in the case of Kachchathivu. Mr. Stalin is thinking that people have forgotten the hypocritical dramas including the three-hour fast conducted by the DMK, which was the ruling party in Tamil Nadu and an alliance of the Central Congress Party, during the Sri Lankan war. It was only after that that the attacks and arrests of our fishermen increased. During the DMK-Congress coalition government, when more than 80 Tamil Nadu fishermen were shot dead by the Sri Lankan Navy, the DMK, which was busy in corruption, kept silent to save the lives of Tamil Nadu fishermen. Last year in 2014, when the Sri Lankan government sentenced Tamil Nadu fishermen to death, the DMK remained silent. Our Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi government rescued them safely. After the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi took charge as the Prime Minister, the fishermen arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy are rescued immediately. They have been assured legal protection without any danger to their lives. The entire nation of India stands in support of our fishermen brothers. After giving up Kachchathivu and affecting the livelihood of Tamil Nadu fishermen, Mr. Annamalai said that it is time for Stalin to introspect.

Can MEA reply to the letter written by stalin whose father karunanidhi had given part of our territory to Srilanka and congress government also given the fishing rights to Srilanka. The blunder is that Katchatheevu issue has become unsolvable now. There is absolutely no chance of recovering Katchatheevu for the next 20-30 years at least, & no one can say it's possible after that either. That's why it's a blunder. Now you expect a party to recover it like some bank loan. First understand that our TN & Indian fishermen were betrayed by DMK. If they had protested, Congress could not have done this because they need the state's approval. Also, Nehru had said on parliamentary record that "he doesn't care about that small island, he's ready to give it away." What kind of PM talks like that on record? In TN 96% of population comes under OBC/MBC/SC and ST. All land owning castes like Gounders, chettiars Thevars and vanniars come under OBC/MBC. Powerful and affluent castes like Nadars and konars also come under MBC/OBC. The reason given is that even though these castes are affluent, they are "socially backward" and are not given social respect by uppers castes (Who are only 4%). Is 96% of the population really pining for respect from 4% of the remaining population? . Of the the remaining 4% population Mudaliars, Pillais and Reddiars are already rich. Only Brahmins who are 2 % of the population are oppressed by Tamils and denied any opportunities in TN.
