The best performed tracks will always be easiest to mix. In this age of technology, it's easy to get lazy but the more i focus on performing at the highest standards possible, the better my mixes sound. so obvious yet most of us fall into the "we'll edit that thing until it sounds better" rather than just go for a better take.

Oof I feel this!! It's so hard bc you don't really know until you do, and by then you're so embarrassed. But that implies growth right?? Just in the last couple months of making myself do music daily, even stuff from a month ago, I'm like "oh god how did I NOT hear that???". But very few artists are amazing right out of the gate right?? At this point I'd rather be embarrassed but trying, than comfortable and living in a delusion that I'm improving without putting anything out. Lots of great points to think about from this video!!

Because we want our videos to get seen :-) Being super specific about what is in the video works well when they are things that people are searching for, or when there is a really astonishing claim in the video. Unfortunately, this is just kind of how titling works with the KZbin algorithm. My general approach is “sell the what they want, give them what they need.” My only defense to your remark is that I am not among the worst in doing this kind of title. If I was, I’d probably have a bigger channel! X-D -Justin

What really sucks to my ears is when a bassline is panned totally left while drums totally on the right. If I stumble upon songs that are mixed this way I'm not gonna play them through headphones ever (unless I may find it worth to readjust it by myself for a particular song). If it's true what I've been told, the Beatles are guilty for this trend 😀
