As I see it the problem with having a lumed hour on this watch is that every subsequent hour digit has not been subjected to light so you wouldn’t know the hour at night anyway.

@@malcolmwordsworth4638 That's true, but it would be better than nothing. As I said in the video, personally I'd just get rid of all of the lume and put that money towards sapphire crystal instead.

I picked up the bronze two tone watch and the concentric circles are just as subtle (also it looks just as good as the photos if not better). Totally agree on the size of the jump hour window and I'd even increase the font thickness. Not bothered about lume on this style of watch. It wears great on my 6.4" wrist. Only other complaint would be having two fixed keepers and I find getting the strap can catch on the 2nd keeper sometimes but if you are aware of it then it shouldn't snag.

@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Only had it 2 weeks so it hasn't started to develop any patina yet. Based on past experience it will normally start to happen after a month of wear but having bought a few watches in the 11.11 sale probably have to wait until after Christmas as I'm rotating quite a lot at the moment.

Good fair review, I like the idea of jump hour movements, but they aren't the most practical. As you said the window is a bit small, if the digits were bigger, it would help legibility a lot, I presume it is limited by the movement.

I keep saying I love Merkur (and its sub brands) watches’ designs but don’t like the movement and mineral glass. I think I’m going to have to put that excuse aside and get one of these. I especially like the W10 Case Shape. Thanks for the great review!

The case shape is great, but the movement failed on the centre seconds version I bought, it now has a vh31 movement inside.

Love the retro nature but jump hands don’t do it for me, also not a fan of the cut off numerals at 25 and 35 and the lume is just daft. Great review🎉

Moment i saw this watch... I was like Jump Hour? - where should i jump to see the hour :D - Nice Strap and Dial , Just like the Pierre Paulin (Other one from Merkur), but i love that case - Cushion or Tano case? Looks great on your wrist,- Nice review Mate!! , more lume and sapphire few qid more is a bargain i believe

The case shape reminds me of the Vacheron Constantin 1921. Great looking war h at a bargain price.
