I just bought this model but mine is a JA60 OW. Really good guitar for the money. I own several vintage instruments and this keeps up and feels and plays great. I bought mine used for $125 with a gig bag and a nice Couch Strap. Thanks Jon, love your videos and chops. Los Angeles

Jon, your playing is sensitive and artistic, and your reviews are always solid… I got the Harley Benton 12 string Rickenbacker copy and the new Harley Benton 25th anniversary Jazzmaster based partially on your videos. The 12 string needed some fret work and set up. But the JA was out of the box fantastic … I added a Guyker Trem and roller bridge to the JA for very little money, and it plays fantastic. The neck and fret board are GREAT! The pups sound nice… no need to replace them … thanks for all you do !

I think by this time next year Harley Benton could be taking business away from some name brands in the US market, fair and square. I like several of their guitars for price/quality and finishes. Etc. Amazing what's available for $200-500. Will consider HB if/when I buy my next 'new' guitar, I like their single-cut LP types. But this Jag and their T-types are badass too.

It’s a similar design with nice pickups at a fraction of the price.. you can Shay make it sound like the jazz master you envisioned with your playing and time adjustments

I love your playing Jon.. I think you could play like a beefheart guitarist.. Where two or. more interlock and syncopate in cycles rather than solo over the top on cue they redefine lead and rhythm by playing both and neither.. He moved further from the backing track for the soloist notion making instruments equally dynamic.. If you get time check out how the horns and guitars dance on shiny beast Bat Chain Puller.

Hey Jon, I just compared the weight on a Gibson ABR1 bridge compared to the Harley Benton JA 60 OW bridge. They both weigh 51 grams. The tailpiece weights are different The Gibson weighs 80 grams (Les Paul Custom) and the Harley Benton weighs 69 grams. I was thinking there would be a bigger difference. Something else I noticed was there's more adjustment on the Harley Benton for intonation than the ABR1 offers. Thought I'd send you this for your followers. Peace Los Angeles

Nice playing as ever and a nice guitar too, mine was set up OK out of the box, only lowered the bridge a bit and changed the strings to my taste, I don't like the feel of Elixers, but that's a question of taste, like the D neck shape and the comfortable feel of the roasted maple meck, This is another good one of HB, played now the Strat, Tele and the Jazz and I agree fully with Jon, get one if you don't mind about the lack of a tremolo, it's a goodlookin and soundin boy'' this one. Greetings from the Netherlands, would be nice to see and hear you play over here once. North Sea jazz ??
