I'm glad you pointed out about the plus and minus markers on the speed dial. I thought the same thing as you but didn't see anyone else mention it so far. Less speed usually means slower and vice versa, but I think they could have named it TIME instead of SPEED, so less time between the signal trigger and the full effect, and vice versa.

I'll have to give this a try next session. It's free, so there's nothing lost. I did put in my request for it when available the other day, and have the email from Waves.

You can use command to get a pulletec like curve.

That crosshairs you were dragging left and right does nothing unless you also move it up or down to get a bell curve to focus on a specific area. In your example this could have been used to good effect.

I wasn't expecting to be able to move it since it was a free plug-in.

I thought IDX was cool… reminded me of Equalizer by Wavesfactory-trying to smooth the whole spectrum first. I could see using this as a tilt for tracks. BTW I'm making a Plugins of the Year awards show-what's your vote for Plugin of the Year? 🤔

Is it like a multiband compression ?
@TheAudioCzar11 күн бұрын
I don't want to call it a multiband compressor because we can't control bands within it the way we would with a multiband compressor, where we say I want you to compress from this frequency to this frequency.

Like VERY -multi band, to the point where you might as well call it a spectral compressor, that seems to be using some target output curve.
