"You're wide so you have to go wide" was a GEM for me. I'm 6'3 240 and I think trying to fit into machines smaller people use can definitely be a bit of a problem, not every machine is one-size-fits-all and without a coach its difficult to tell how to set up as a taller guy sometimes

It's very true what the coach said about "chasing the pump." Nowadays it's all high volume, which has it's place, but if you want that muscle density, you HAVE to be getting stronger, and that means lifting more weight - which generally means, going back to the basic tested and proven compound movements.

@flextefitness4954 there's always new faces coming and going from the game bud! Hany is the coach of the winners of the Open and Classic physique categories in the Olympia, Hadi Chopan, and Chris Bumstead. He's a great mam and his style of training is one of the best in the business and Noel, the guy being trained, is an influencer known for his transparency with his use of PEDs and is one of the nicest guys alive today. Gives good advice, is a class act, and all around gent!

@mikepeters99962 жыл бұрын
To eliminate momentum during dumb bell laterals or front raises, I find it best to use cable machines. Cable movements provide resistance throughout the rep not just the top half. Dumb bells provide very little resistance from the bottom and the constant weight of the cable movements maximizes the mind/muscle connection. Cable laterals performed unilaterally allow more focus/connection. Are the machine laterals at the end a somewhat redundant movement in comparison of the dumb bell laterals? Couldn't they be performed instead of the dumb bell side laterals. What is the reason for specificity of 7 sets for FST? Would drop sets after failure on the FST sets pump even more blood in the target area? Thanks for sharing info.
